I dont define abuse nor do I have anything to do with what you wager or how you handle your account. That is a question you have to ask the sportsbooks.
The spooky guys are offered the best bonuses available. Simply put it keeps everyone in action longer and offers a lot of great surprises, contests and bonuses all year long.
Most everyone is recreational. We play for the action, the fun and the sport.
Wish I could share more but that is not my responsibility.
I have no worries about been classed as non-recreational. I never have before at all the sportsbooks I have played at and I doubt I ever will. I just enjoy the best bonuses.
I am a little worried by JKM's comment though. I was always under the impression you could not have an account at every book in the group. I have gone ahead and opened an account at Las Palmas and now have pending wagers.
Before Las Palmas I only had accounts at Boomkaer and Diamond.
Very sad to read some of this stuff - it is however more indicative of the world we live in today.
In my younger days, to be English was synonymous with honesty and fair play - not so much the case these days. A good example of this -
I was reading about a "bargain" tv on another forum. One poster wholeheartedly endorsed the product as being great - it was then pointed out by another poster that this same person had, 2 weeks before on a different thread on the same product, criticized the tv and advised everyone to avoid it. He responded that he had only done that to try to put people off buying it so he had a better chance of getting it himself. He had now got it, so was now happy to tell the truth. He maintained he did nothing wrong.
It is sad that there are people out there prepared to lie and cheat to get what they want - I hope they are a minority.
Obviously not the same situation here , but indicative of what some perceive to be acceptable.
Personally , I will take a bonus when offered BUT I view it as an incentive to continue playing at a book and will do so for the long term - if they are looking after me well, I will be loyal to them.Works both ways.
On another thread here we have been discussing the fairness of Bookies Limiting customers after a Bonus but before the rollover is completed - a lot of the points are relevant here too.
I guess as Spooky said , it`s just not Cricket.
.......guess it must be my period too !
I was assured by Spooky that you can have accounts in BetLasPalmas and BetCanadian, so the reason that CS gave me (having another account with them) was not true. I asked them to give me real explain why my account was closed as Spooky suggested they could classify me to some "fraud ring". Well, I have accounts in Diamond and LasPalmas for over two years, was invited to some reloads no longer then two months ago and now suddenly I'm part of "fraud ring". Also, my account at LasPalmas is still up and running.
I will wait what CS will tell me, but I wan't to add that this has nothing to do with Spooky's offers and he was really helpfull.
GET STARTED WITH ONE OF THE MOST FUN CONTESTS THAT WE HAVE ALL YEAR LONG.
First 100 entries that register and have submitted their account number.
SIMILAR TO THE SUPER BOWL POOL, PICK A BOX AND HAVE
THE SAME NUMBERS FOR EACH OF THE 63 GAMES IN THE TOURNAMENT.
Spooky did a grand job at LP for me!
Opend the acc and BetCRIS people closed it! Spooky got it open again. Had mucho trouble getting the deposit to work. Spooky to the rescue.
Bonus applied, even at the weekend.
Well, after my self righteous pontificating earlier in the thread about loyalty to the book etc, I find myself today in the rather embarrassing position of having been "banned from the loyalty program" at DIAMOND.
I have had an account here for over a year - Had ONE signup bonus,no reload bonuses ,NEVER requested a withdrawal in all that time (having said that, dont think I could have done because of rollover). Largest bet I ever made here was £400 with average being around £150.
I enquired about the current promo for 25% bonus and deposited £500. Livechat said would get the bonus added. This morning, still no bonus, so I go onto livechat again to query it and am told I`ve been banned from the Loyalty program but they cant tell me why.
I am totally bemused by this. I`ve been told I can try speaking to a manager this afternoon to find out more.
I opened accounts at Laspalmas and Betcanadian after consultation with Spooky - these were in $ , Diamond was in £ (helps me to keep things seperate.
When I opened my first US books , I opened accounts at Diamond, Betcris, and Bookmaker - at the time I did not know they were all the same group.
I funded Diamond and Betcris and noticed the similarity of the websites - after a little digging I found out all 3 were the same group. As a result, I decided not to fund the Bookmaker account at all (still haven`t) and played Betcris until my funds ran out - didnt hit them for reloads , my thought at the time was that I didnt want to be seen to be signing up just to take advantage of the bonuses, so would then just concentrate on Diamond as my main book.
So, I need to think very carefully about how to proceed - in trying to do the right thing,it appears maybe I`ve done the wrong thing.
Don`t know if this means I`m banned from Laspalmas and Betcanadian too - I`ll have a word with the Spookster .
Just a heads up
Just to say I have had an email from Spooky.
This guy is a star. His house has just been flooded out , he has no electricity , but still he finds the time to email me to say he is looking into it.
Frankly, it doesn`t matter whether he gets the situation sorted out , it`s the fact that he is willing to drop everything to look after someone he didn`t know from Adam 2 weeks ago and when he has effectively been made homeless.
Whatever the outcome , you have my thanks .
I hope you don`t mind me posting this on the forum, but I think the guys here should know (if they didn`t know already) the kind of guy they are dealing with.
Good luck in sorting out your House mate.
Similar story to Cairnx, Spooky seems to bending over backwards to help his clients, even when he has no PC, and is using a Blackberry for access. A true star....!
