having just noticed this thread ... how are you working out your unit stake mate ? and your selections are just your thoughts ?
I have a total disdain for Aussie basketball, but just curious If anybody has a desire to completely wreck a very popular world-wide sport in a sports mad country, just use the Australian Basketball model I doubt it will ever recover to its halcyon days of the 80's Cheers

perhaps you'd be up for a bit of a challenge mr dutchy ... we can just bet "pride" ... unless can think of a prize
you run an AFL tipping thread as you have set up I'll run an NRL thread we could set some guidelines, and see which code has the superior supporters  just an idea, have a few weeks to nut out some guidelines i ran a thread a couple of years ago at a horse racing forum ... rugby league tips, level (or percentage - can't remember) staking plan ... and made 20 odd percent for the year Cheers

No worries - Im in, coudl do it on units won or ROI? I bet 1-3 units on AFL with the odd 4 or 5 unit splay but only probably 2-3 times a year will it go over 3 units

on second thoughts, we dont really need to marry up our staking plans etc ... I'll just run a level stakes NRL tipping thread ... 1 bet per week, any type of bet is fine
i follow the nrl very closely, and get a fair bit of mail from various sources on a whole range of matters originally I just started doing this type of thread to isolate my bet of the round and to prove to myself that more bets does not mean a better result I'll run a thread for something to do along these lines Cheers
