UK Arcade slots now available online

I don't know if anyone here is interested, or why it has taken so blooming long, but finally an online casino has done deals with Barcrest, Astra and Bell Fruit to bring the most popular UK amusement arcade £500 jackpot slots to a PC near you.
Arcade classics like Rainbow Riches, Cashino, Reel King, Elvis Top 20 & Bullion Bars are now just a mouse-click away.

These slots look & play exactly the same as the ones down the amusements, but with one major difference - you can bet whatever you like; you can select anything from 1 to 20 winlines and stake from as little as 1p right up to £25 per line - that's £500 per spin!
    (The wins also increase proportionally).

The casino's base software is WagerWorks, so they also supply IGT Vegas slots like Wolf Run, Elvis Multistrike, Texas Tea & many more.

A full listing of all the online arcade slots at SkyVegas can found here: ArcadeSlotsOnline.com

My favorites are the unique & slightly weird Super Cubes and the fun Snakes & Ladders.

Anyone else here play arcade fruities, or am I the only one?

Bargepole / Touch / Wouldnt / etc etc etc.

Unless i had an "emptier" of course, not sure you would be able to do that with the online fruities but just imagine you did hey! Thats probably why it has taken so long to bring the concept over actually.

I would also consider playing if there was a juicy bonus attached, but just for "fun", no thankyou.

What is the difference between pub slots and video slots then? I've heard it said before that pub slots (presume this is same as 'arcade' slots?) are a lot worse in terms of EV than video slots, why is this?

These £500 'S16' machines are supposed to be completely random - nothing like pub fruities.
As you know, fruities have crap returns of anything down to as low as 70%, but these online S16 ones have published returns of 94 to 95% = roughly the same as most regular online slots.

SkyVegas are offering a sign-up bonus of a randomly picked £1, £25 or £100, followed by a £90 bonus after £2,000 worth of play = Bonus x 22.22. This is considerably less than MG for example, where Bx30 is normally the minimum.

As above - two totally different animals.
Pub fruit machines are only £35 jackpot (rising to £70 in the next 2 weeks). They are AWPs (Amusements With Prizes) = totally rigged to give you lots of play & masses of features which hardly ever give you a decent return for your money.
They only pay out a jackpot once they have taken a certain amount in. This amount is typically 4 or 5 times the level of the jackpot (i.e. £140+) so they can have jackpot repeats and still maintain their crap payout %.
Because of the way they work players can "force" them to pay out the jackpot (+ repeats hopefully) by just continuously feeding money in and not collecting any wins. Fine if the machine is already full & nearing it's trigger point, but fricking expensive if you play it at the wrong time. I speak from several bitter experiences!

Of course, you will find these exact same fruities in arcades as well, but what I'm talking about here are the big £500 jackpot type machines which first appeared just a few years back. They claim to be 100% random and do work more like online slots.

Cheers... reminds me I meant to ask what an 'emptier' is that Andy referred to as well... is that something to do with waiting for the right time to play the thing (after someone's fed it money etc)?

An "emptier" is a method to beat the machine due to either perfecting a skill game, taking advantage of a bug in the code or finding a method to "force" the jackpot to repeat. You then use these methods to literally "empty" the machine. There is no money left in it and you actually get a little IOU on the screen!

I knew a few around 2003/4 I think but it was mainly only after the World and his wife had realised them and they were beginning to be chipped. KingKebab and ThePieFactory were true friends!
