If something positive is happening and you act negatively, it will have that exact effect on the situation. So if something negative is happening, the plain-and-simple best thing to do is to be positive.
If you are risking money and losing, the best thing to do is immediately stop and do something positive and risk-free. If you lose £500 and it feels like the worst thing in the world to you, then you are obviously not terminally ill. So there you go - be happy you are alive and have more tomorrows to shape into what ever you want them to be.
