Worst roulette experience?
There's a lot of skepticism and heated debate on high edge games, roulette being one of them.
For example, martingale roulette has its pros and cons but you must as a player decide on the most appropriate betting technique that will work for you lest you risk your future finances. Real-time roulette, when compared to software based roulette is actually slower. The Fibonacci stakes may gradually rise relatively slower as compared to the latter roulette, but Fibonacci is practically more complicated. With Labouchere roulette, you should be aware of quickly growing stakes once you register continuous losses on your bets.
Any of you had some really bad roulette experiences?

Sorry, you can never beat the house edge no matter what technique you use, martingale, Fibonacci or whatever. The only thing that can vary with technique is your variance but ultimately your return will be exactly the same. Also Roulette is certainly not a high edge game.
Bad experiences though, no not really never had any unexpected results and won plenty of quad ups in the past!

There are techniques but these techniques only work in land based casinos . Besides most people havent the skill to win long term with it.

But I hope to get the hang of it at the very least!

My worst was - £400, 15 black streak. Martingale screwed me over big time but i knew the risk and took it!
Only £100 was mine, was doing quite well clearing a WR

After something like 8 reds, i started the martingale tactic. Still red 10 spins later, cost me £400.
Never played roulette since!

Just gone through “Roulette Sniper” and I hear it’s a hot product, has any one tried it.... or is it just another scam?

totally and utterly pointless product dont waste your money. Roulette involves no skill whatsoever the house edge is always the same no matter how you play and every spin is independent. The claims roulettesniper make are 100% false.

I have a bad experience or 2 with roulette.
Hit a quiet spot with my betting and had a float of 4k in betfair so I thought I'd try and get the better of variance, as I know you can't beat the house edge.
Anyway, my plan was to transfer 4k into the casino on a daily basis, start off with £20-£25 bets, with a kind of but not quite martingale system until variance made me hit +£100. Once I hit my target I would stop, transfer out £4100, and repeat the next day.
Great I thought, £45k in profit with AP by the end of the year. Until after 6 days of hitting my £100 target, I had a bad run. I can't remember now exactly how many blacks I got (I chose colours randomly, but would always bet on red or black, but would vary it to try and wipe out long bad runs) but anyway, through a combination of the martingale style bets, and a bit of red mist, and thinking a 4k float was enough to ride out the variance, I ended up £500 down.
Once you get to that point, it is very hard to climb back up, but again, the red mist set in and I went about chasing losses. I ended up £1000 down in one roulette session over the space of about 10 minutes.
The only saving grace is that I had made £600 in the previous few days so I was only £400 down overall. But my run of bad luck could just as easily have happened on day 1 and I would have been a clear £1k down.
Roulette is a game of high variance, and you can maximise your chances with a very careful staking plan and some good bankroll management. HOWEVER, as any member of this site should know, with an infinite amount of money and over an infinite amount of time, the house edge will come true. Which is what? 2.5% on European roulette with la partage rules?
There will of course be people who play roulette and fall on the right side of the variance, these people could play every day for the rest of their lives and maybe end up in the black. But for every one of those people, there are the ones who end up in the red. Somebody has to pay for both the winners and the casino right?
Luck is something you have no control over. You have absolutely no say on whether you will end up on the right side or the wrong side of the variance.
Needless to say I haven't been back to play any roulette since, and will not be doing in the forseeable future. That is, not just for fun. Maybe where a bonus gives ME an edge rather than the house edge, and the odds are in my favour, but it has to be +EV.
