Slow running with Flash casinos

For months now any flash casino app has slowed my computer down to a crawl, done a recent re-install of vista which didn't solve the issue, now have windows 7 on the way to try and solve.

But tonight playing on betfair arcade and things slowing down to an unplayable level with the CPU fan going full chat, this prompted me to do some digging online and found a two fixes the top one has seemed to work for me so far.

Fix 1.Uninstall flash player, then download and reinstall the latest version of flash then download and install the latest version of Adobe shockwave.

Fix 2.Use flash player version 8

I'd be interested to know if anyone else has had the same slow problems and if either of the fixes work for you.

Mines been fine until today, when i believe i installed an update for flash player?
Betfair casino is just terrible now!

Do you mean the Arcade rather than the Chartwell instaint casino at BF?

It makes my processor fan run at full speed to.

(Actually as does the BF download Playtech casino too.)

Yes it was the Betfair arcade specifically yesterday, but Ladbrokes flash casino and any Microgaming download casino all run hot and slow. I thought that all the MG casinos got a lot worse after the first update this year, they are also flash based.
