Not sure this is the right place to chat about this but this comment did make me think back to about 1 year ago when after making a bad mistake with some FGS bets and then going on tilt I ended up playing Rainbow Riches at Paddy Power.
My wife and I noticed that when we got the "Wishing Well" bonus feature, the bonus was immediately added to our account without us selecting a well.
I complained to PP and they said:
To answer your query, yes the bonus is added instantly upon entering the bonus round. Reason being is that the game results are decided as soon as you click the Spin button, therefore the game already knows what the outcome is going to be before the flash plays out the game.
It's a bug in the software that the bonus adds instantly, it should only add after the bonus round ends. The software providers are working to fix this in the next release.
Now according to the paytable information is correct when it says
You must select a wishing well by clicking on it.
The player will be awarded the value indicated on the selected well multiplied by their total stake.
However it fails to mention that no matter which well you pick, the value behind it has been predetermined. I argued that it was misleading to have three wells and display the values of the other wells thereby giving the player the impression that they could have won more e.g. "if I had picked the one in the middle I would have won £100 and not £10".
They told me I could complain to the AGCC but I couldn't be bothered to.

Moved this to it's own thread.
WOW.. That is something I always wondered, so when you are kicking youreslf because you changed you mind on a pick and then get ' collect' or whatever, if didn't actually matter as that was always going to happen!

Yep, noticed this as well. You get it on the same slot with all the features, so when you go to the one where you advance up the multiplier path depending on the spin of a wheel, again you can see exactly how far you are going to go. It is really demoralising to finally get a feature, and then see before you even start that you are going to crash out with next to nothing !
For this reason, I haven't played it for some time, so they may well have fixed the bug by now.

I ment to post this a few weeks back, This also happens with ladbrokes.
I was playing the wild wednesday promo on amazon wild. I lost count of how many spins I had so I was refreshing my balance each spin to see if the £5 bonus had gone in. I hit the bonus round and refreshed my balance to see if I had completed the spins, My balance had jumped up about £50 before I had started the bonus round. Needless to say I won that amount.
Shame really I use to like thinking I was being shrewd with my choices haha

This same thing happened to me, got bonus round on legally blonde at willhill and before playing it had a look online how the feature worked. Checked my balance before doing the bonus and it had already given me £20 which I assumed I must of won by getting the 3 scatters, but the 3 icons I chose on the bonus magically added up to the £20 i won!

That reminds me of the old £100 physical slot machines back in the 1990's that I used to be hooked on, whenever you had a choice of anything between 1 and 10 nudges and it is flashing around the numbers at high speed it was always pre-determined that I would get 1!
I'm pretty sure slots are a fiddle, it's just that the online ones are nowhere near as bad as the physical machines.
