help for a newbie casino player

Iv been MBing for a while and was thinking about giving some casino offers a go. generally looking at t&c im thinking slots is a way to go (feel free to tell me wrong). Someone told me to do £2.50 to £5 spins and hope for a big win then grind out with penny spins, yet looking on this forum I get a idea doing the small penny spins from the start is the best option. Im new to this so any help would be great and a few ideas about bookies to start at would help as well. Sorry if this is kind of question is always on the forum.

I'm not a big casino person, but mop up the low growing fruit. As far as low house edge goes, Blackjack is of course the recommended game, but it's hardly ever allowed. (Boyles have a small offer next weekend).

Normally I think the recommended course of action is to try to double up (on roulette) and THEN grind out in the smallest stakes you can bear. The logic being that you will win the double half the time, and make the grinding more profitable (less chance of busting) on the remaining 50%.

    HTH..........

Obviously there is no guaranteed winning strategy for slots, and even if a bonus was theoretically +EV, the high variance of slots make it a much more risky endeavour than say, Blackjack play.
But with high risk comes the chance of high reward, which is what attracts many people to slots play.

I've been profiting from slots for many years, but it's a real roller-coater ride; some bonuses only lasted a matter of minutes before busting out, others took many hours of play to complete the WR, but a few big hits meant a healthy profit at the end.

As for bet sizes, well each will have their own opinion on that, but I certainly wouldn't recommend betting as big as you said - you can easily do 50 spins on a slot and win 3/5 of FA... you could be bust in no time.
I personally start small (something like 0.5 to 1% of total bankroll per spin) and gradually increase if I'm going in the right direction. But also, it helps to know the nature of each slot you are playing, because they are all slightly different animals; some are low variance making big bets quite safe, while some are the opposite.

I recently updated my list of slots bonuses, sorted in order (roughly) of best to worst value on SlotBeaters.
You can view that list here: http://www.slotbeaters.com/Bonus~All.htm
Also, other pages on that site give my opinion on the variance of slots on some (not all) softwares.
