carribean stud poker strategy?
Strategy
The simple strategy of raising with a Ace/King/Jack/8/3 or better results in a house edge ~0.1% from optimal. Wizard of Odds offers a strategy to further improve results to ~0.001% from optimal.
"Always raise with a pair or higher, fold with less than ace/king, and raise on ace/king if any of the following three rules apply.
1. Raise if the dealer's card is a 2 through queen and matches one of yours.
2. Raise if the dealer's card is an ace or king and you have a queen or jack in your hand.
3. Raise if the dealer's rank does not match any of yours and you have a queen in your hand and the dealer's card is less than your fourth highest card."
this is what it says on beating bonuses but i cant really get my head around it. i'm gunna do the centrebet casino bonus using £50 hands until i reach a target of £500 and then change to £1 hands so i thought it would probably be wise to understand the strategy fully before placing such big bets!
if i get a hand of king/jack/9/8/4 do i fold?
it doesn't mention folding only raising. there wasn't a call or check on the free version i played for a trial and ive never played the game before.
thanks for your help...

£50 hands!!! I'd be scared to do that in FUN mode!
I actually like Caribbean Stud a lot, and used to play hell of a lot of it back in the days when it was allowed at sensible %'s in bonus wagering...
I never played the totally best strategy you described above, even though I was fully aware of it - I'm such a scaredy-cat that I would only play on a pair or higher.
You did well there with your risky bets - this game is much higher variance than Blackjack!

Yet you throw hundereds at high-varience slot machines?????
Just completed this for £375 profit on carribean stud, doubled up on roulette before commencing wagering, took about 1hr5mins, but I had it on fast mode. The software tells you if you have a pair etc... so I barely even looked at my hand (or the dealers, or my balance).
High varience offer, not for the faint hearted...

yeh im working my way through it now. is there anyway to know how close you are to completing the wr without manually counting up all your bets in the history. i did this for the first £600 odd i wagered and it took forever.
and maybe a mod should change this into a casino sub thread as we haven't really discussed strategy here much really. just an idea.

If you go to the cashier, your full balance will shown in the casino balance box, if not, only £125 will show.
Just had a message from Centrebet "Fraud & collusion Analyst" stating that:
Our systems have detected play that the Casino considers to be
indicative of Bonus Abuse or Bonus Hunting.
They have taken £270 out of my account for doubling up on roulette, seems you were wise to play two tier on Carribean Stud.
