Disconnecting in the middle of a hand

I read somewhere that you can get banned from certain casinos for regularly disconnecting in the middle of a hand to stop you losing it.

    That implies that disconnecting works....

Anyone know anything about this? I seem to remember that at most places if you log off halfway through a hand, when you go back to the game the hand will still be there.

Yeah, I'd be surprised if that worked. Even if you didn't go back to the hand, surely the money was taken out of your balance as soon as you hit deal so it's already gone?

Be nice if it did... I wouldn't mind being banned if it saved me a few double ups.

I tried that on the scratch cards on the national lottery site ages go (not that I'd play that sort of -EV junk )

If I picked a bad one on the first go I'd close the game then go back. The pop-up would say I had a unplayed game and I'd get to start it again. But no matter what I picked I'd always get the same dodgy result as the time before.

I'd be surprised if that had worked really, worth a try though

I doubt the disconnect trick would work anywhere, surely the casino would get hammered by bonus abusing scumbags in no time!

I have read that Elvis is alive and well. No way, just no way is that true or even possible once you make your action the rest is just graphics the outcome is known already, whether you see it or not doesnt matter.

A slightly more plausible spin off story is that some Casinos became aware of people "doubling up" and so did set it so that the first hand played would always lose. From then on it was normal, but the first hand lost 80% of the time. There was some people thought they "proved" this. I dont think they proved it but it was enough for a large section of the Casino advantage play community to play at £1 stakes until they hit a win and THEN play the balance on the hand after that.
Have a plan and stick to it

    Interesting...

I always used to think the opposite.

As in my first hand at a casino would always win, to suck me in.
