What is the smallest edge you will accept?
OK, lets's take the current Ladbrokes deposit SUB as an exmaple. Deposit £100, play it through once, then you're awarded a £100 cashable bonus. In order to cash out, you must wager the bonus 100x (assuming you're playing table games such as BJ) which is a lovely chunk of WR totalling £10,000 (that is of course, assuming the pre bonus one time turnover is included in that 100x WR, otherwise the WR is actually going to be £10,100 ).
I use the following to calculate the edge;
(Bonus/WR) x 100 - House Edge%.
Thus;
£100 Bonus/£10,000 WR = 0.01.
0.01 x 100 = 1%
1% - 0.45% (House Edge) = 0.55%
Our edge is therefore 0.55%, which means over 10,000 of wagering our EV will be £55.
0.55% is pretty tight. So my question is, who would accept that and who wouldn't? It will be interesting to find out people's opinions on this. I wonder if some will say they would forefit the bonus and rather opt for the various promotions that laddy's periodically come out with.

On the face of it I would either, A) Not take that bonus, or B) Take it and either play a game with a lower wagering or use a different strategy or both.
I would not personally take it and try to just grind it out. Just my opinion, I have not actually read the ins/outs of the T&Cs I am just going on your post.
Have a plan and stick to it

Having only just signed up to Laddies over Cheltenham, I've been wondering about the best way to tackle their Casino sign-up bonus.
Not decided yet! I'm not clear on whether or not you can withdraw your cash balance after the initial £100 of wagering, before you request the bonus. If you could it might be used as a risk-free double up, if you could then forfeit it?
I don't think I would try and grind out £10k to be honest.
Be interested to hear anyone else's opinions/recent experiences.
T&C's are here:

Interesting point. It does not say you cannot.
Term 9 would seem to apply;
If a customer wishes to withdraw any cash balance before turning over the bonus value 10 times, then they will be prompted by a warning message informing them that they will forfeit the bonus if the cash is withdrawn.
Only other thing I can see is Term 8;
Please note the cash balance in the Ladbrokes wallet will be used before the bonus balance.
But that just means it will be your cash being wagered before the bonus is touched - it doesn't affect the wagering. I haven't seen anything (at the moment anyway) that states you can't withdraw your cash and then proceed wagering the bonus.

Also note the fact that if depositing by Netteler or Moneybookers it will 20x more wr than mentioned above. Following them changing the terms a few weeks ago.
'As a result of bonus abuse, deposits made using Neteller and Moneybookers will be subject to a turnover requirement of 20 times the actual deposit level for all promotions. We reserve the right to recharge all banking fees on deposits which are not turned over at this level. All other payment methods fall into the turnover requirements as specified in the rest of the terms and conditions of this promotional offer.'

Moving away from Ladbrokes there are a multitude of other offers available all the time which have a very low edge, but if you are a "Pro" you would take them up as value.
For example every Tuesday at PaddyPower there is a 20% refund on losses at the Casino, which has about £38 of EV if you put £500 on one spin of Roulette, but there you are risking losing £500 on a pretty much evens shot.
I got an E-mail today from 888Sport with:
It’s 888sport’s End of March Madness!
Play 888sport Casino & Games in the last 3 days of March and we’ll give you 20% cash back up to 50 GBP on all your losses!
How crazy is that?
* Log in to your account from March 29-31, (00:00 – 23:59 GMT)
* Stake as little as 25 GBP on 888sport casino and 888sport games and we’ll give you 20% cash back up to 50 GBP for a FREE bet on any market!
Which is not quite as good as PPower which is cash not a freebet but its a variation on the theme. These high risk, low margin, but definitely +EV offers are all out there, it is just not everybodys cup of tea.

Actually, I just re-read this, and you can't do the risk free double up;
9. If a customer wishes to withdraw any cash balance before turning over the bonus value 10 times, then they will be prompted by a warning message informing them that they will forfeit the bonus if the cash is withdrawn.
Even though I quoted that in my post above, I totally missed the point. You can't withdraw your balance without forefitting the bonus.

The true pro would bet on a single number and get around double the EV
