Run the same search as in step 1.

Don't know how you do that on Mac, but on unix based system you could either do:
    Code:
    locate iesnare
    or

    Code:
    find / -iname "*iesnare*"

    Hello
Dam I have four mpsnare folders coming up,I followed steps 1-3 but when I do a search the folders still show up am I ment to delete the folders to?
also I had no idea that they can spy on you this way I have been suspended from Betuk maybe this is the cause.Maybe a big thing should be made of this so newbies can set it up before they start joining all the bookmakers.
    cheers

You should still be able to see the folders but you shouldn't be able to write to them or even open the folder if you made the folder's permissions 'deny all' or similar.

I'm in the process of setting my PC up again after a virus destroyed it. Having just learnt how useful imaging your drive to avoid hours of re-installign stuff that you'd forgotton you needed I don't want to install unnecessary stuff.

Can you clarify whether this applies to Adobe Flash Player (which i currently have) or is it just the Macromedia Flash player (that I don't have) that I want to avoid?

    Cheers

    Lazza

They're one and the same thing! - can't remember the detail but I think Adobe probably consumed Macromedia at some point or something like that.

Re imaging, yes I'm thinking about rebuilding my PC soon and not looking forward to reinstalling everything... will be nice to have a clean and less clunky system though.

    Oh nuts!

And I thought my nice clean computer was going to be fine.

Never mind, I've followed your instructions to keep it clean (I like YouTube so I'm probably going to have to keep Flash Player)

I guess you've got imaging your drive sorted, but the freeware I ended up using was the stuff on this page
Gizmo's - Never Re-install Windows Again Part 3: Imaging your hard drive | Gizmo's Tech Support Alert

Works too - I tried it out and had Windows etc all up and running in 10 minutes flat without having to reload any programs etc.
