I am Dire, and I originally came over here from MSE. I started MB back in 2007, and gave up after a few months once I had paid my O/D off.
I then realised how much more I could make, so have been doing an odd couple of hours every second week or two since August 09, but this year I'm planning on doing this more often to increase my profit.
I took a break in Jan to look into trading. Manually trading, I can usually lock in a small profit, but I havent got the hang of trading with bots. As such, I only trade on the likes of horses while sat MB'ing, to make the best use of my time. From manual trading, I can make say £6-10PH i think my average is.
Casino-wise, i've not had much luck with the offers, I'm up, but only just. Hence I am going to take a break again from these for a while.
MB'ing, I have just counted, and I have signed up to 51 GBP/EUR books, and havent touched any USD yet. This month I have made 27 bets, have £107 profit, and another £80 in freebets to cashout, so am hoping to easily reach the £400PCM mark.
Hi - I am Noahsnana - I really am. I have been match betting on and off for a couple of years now but decided recently to settle down to it and do it properly - Since I started I have done about 25 or so of the main bookmakers and only on the football.
I need to earn money on top of my day job and MB'ing seems to be a good way to do it. I want earn about 400 per calender month for the next 12 months. Is that possible? The plan is to do one bet a day. I am worried about running out of bookies. That's proably too many questions for one post. I have lurked around the MSE forum but I don't want to be made to feel silly. I have read some of the posts on here and every one seems very friendly and ready with advice
Any way thanks
Hello Noahsnana, welcome to the forums! We do try to be friendly here so don't feel at all worried about posting.
At the moment, you're a junior member so can't see the Premium forums but within the Premium forums are ongoing threads documenting the profits people are making and they certainly highlight that £400 per month (and much more) is entirely possible. But if you've used MSE then you have probably already seen Donglemouse's diary which gives an idea as to what can be achieved over quite a long period of time. Generally two key things with profit making are float and time; if you utilise both well then you will do well, and if you utilise both well and have a lot of both, you'll do incredibly well!
If you've joined up to 25 books so far then you've plenty more to be getting signed up to. I truly wouldn't worry about running out because there are always new books popping up as well as ongoing offers and reload offers from a variety of them. As a quick example, Bet24 recently had a reload offer worth either £10 or £50 depending on the email you received. So beyond the initial signup bonus, these kind of things all help to contribute to monthly totals.
In case you aren't already aware, this site offers a cashback scheme so for certain bookmakers that you sign up to via thegamblingtimes' links, you can get £5 which can help to boost your float a little. The list of bookmakers links is here (opportunity for cashback is marked with the big "Claim £5" sign if it's available): The Gambling Times | Bookmakers, Reviewed By The Gambling Times | Claim Cashback
Anyway, I hope that gives you a sense that your proposed target is do-able. If you have any further questions, please feel free to ask.
I've been doing this for exactly a year now. My motto is 'Why should I pay for something if I can get someone else to do so!' - and I've got a central heating system to pay for in August!
Hopefully I can contribute something to this forum!
My name's Lana and I'm new to all this! Any tips/advice would be appreciated!
Been a member for quite a while but only been visiting regularly as of late. Very interesting and helpful forum.
I started off gambling, won and lost tidy sums over the years but stopped and moved into trading horses and football. Then matched betting and casino bonuses. Made about 1k so far,so still plenty to do.
Read as many of the threads as possible in the casino and UK sportsbooks forums as you can, then start asking questions in the chat box.

Just to say that I am millie (well, my dog is!) and I'm from Blackburn, but I support Burnley - hence the disguised user name!!!
Hi millie, welcome to the site and enjoy your stay
