Hehe yes... if he's a vicar in real life
lmao can picture him preaching to the masses .... bookmakers are good!
Hey found this place from GlobalSquare's bookie spreadsheet (thanks for the useful resource but also thanks to the others who contributed). I'm also a member of MSE where I learned about matched betting (but don't have many posts there as I didn't join that long ago).
A little about myself then. I'm 20 and a medical student somewhere up north. The money is so I can enjoy myself a bit more at uni and save some money in my bank account (instead of going deeply into my overdraft). It's much better than a part time job (which is difficult on my course as my timetable is demanding and changes from week to week).
Anyways I Hope to contribute and learn from everyone here (and make lots more from matched betting lol).
Hi QRScomplex and welcome onboard
*coughs* its not mine .. if it was it wouldnt have most of the info it now does in it *coughs*
anyway ditto on what monk said (and you should be safe now if he got andy to certify his id lol)
I was thinking... on the Betfair ID form it does say a 'community leader' has to certify the docs... and technically Andy is a community leader isn't he?!
hehe seriously though I'm waiting on a recent bank statement, can take docs down to the post office then to get them certified.
Everyone who has posted in this thread is eligible to take part in the BetShop X-mas challenge thingy we have going on:
It is just for fun really, dont take it too seriously, dont lay the bets is my advice, just go along for the ride if you want. Any questions ask in that thread. You must be in it from Thursday to qualify, no late entrants, and you must keep going to the end, rolling up each bet as you go. Please join Betshop through one of the links provided, like this one:
If you already have a BetShop account then use that, dont try to open a new one its unneccesary and they will definitely have a sense of humour failure about it and it will cause trouble. For some idea of how this has worked in the past there is this thread, if you have a question chances are it is answered there somewhere.
If it isnt, then ask the new Question in the new Mark II thread.
Have a plan and stick to it
Hi Pigskin, apologies I didnt see you post until now, Im an Aussie on here also, stumbled across this site earlier in the year when following some US cappers.
Got into the Matched betting and have made about $7k AUD so far, 4.5K books and 2.5 Casinos. Really helpful crowd here.
Feel free to ask me any advice, Ive done probably around 60% of the Europe Bookies and 30% US Bookies as well as most Aussies (still a couple to do) have most of my experiences of them all ona spreadsheet and memory is pretty good.
Join the bookies by the TGT and you will get 5GBP back, around $13AUD which aint to shabby, I only realised I could do this about 2 months ago!!!
As I said feel free to ask any questions, more than happy to swap emails if you want to PM me, be nice to have someone in the same position as me and take advantage of our weak $$$
Cool mate, thanks for the offer. I'm in Brisbane btw. I may just take you up on the questions if something comes up that is particularly Aussie.
I was trying to find a cashback site that would take us Aussies, which is how I ended up here. Not that its the be all and end all, but it helps. Don't think there are any decent cashback sites operating in Aus. But as I said, this forum has a pretty relaxed feel about it, and I like it a lot.
How long have you been doing it for $7k mate ? Currently I'm waiting for a casino to pay out. Obviously I could just inject more funds into this little venture, but there would be no sense of achievement in that. So I'm starting off with $200AU neat, and not waivering.
We see how it goes.
Yeah Im down in Adelaide, nah not aware of any cashback sites in Aus. Ive been doing this since April this year, only real hassle Ive had is with UK bookies not accepting Moneybookers and wanting credit cards for deposits which is fine but they cannot credit winnings back to it therefore Bank Transfer is the only way which I avoid as their is fees and delays, Totesport is the classic one for this as was Boyles and Paddy's. I still use them just bust the balance over to Betfair instead of withdrawing.
Ladbrokes is the only Sports bookie that refused me a bonus as I was not a UK resident, however their casino as no problems.
Those ones are just off the top of my head, feel free to ask and questions.
How many Aussies ones have you done? Sportsbet?
