Official Photo I.d
I have brought this subject up before in a different thread but was more related to a particular site.
Basically i dont own a passport or driving license and dont intend on getting one, however as you all know some bookies require goverment issued photo i.d. The cheapest of the two options is the provisional driving license £50.
Having investigated you can however get a citizencard which is goverment issued and is only £12.
My question is do you think the bookies will accept this as my i.d?
For larger mainly UK focused sites like Coral, Ladbrokes, WillHill that would be fine, but as you move onto smaller places who like being "difficult" and European sites who wouldn't know what that is, you would need a Passport or Driving Licence sooner or later.
You may have to just bite the bullet and get one and write it off as a cost of doing business. In the same way you couldnt do it without a PC and Internet connection, a source of ID accepted quickly and easily will be well worth the £50 investment.
Have a plan and stick to it
Most bookies usually ask for a 'government issued ID photocard', so I would say that definitely fits the bill. If it's on the gov.uk as an official government issued ID photocard then you can just point any bookie that doesn't want to accept it to that site.

A lot less than the £50 for the next cheapest option anyway, good heads up ... just whether you want to take the gamble as to whether smaller books will accept it
awe being in a slightly inebrated state i was hoping for a picture of an aweful mugshot included in the thread ... though saved me putting up mine to scare you all to make up for a bit of abuse
agrees with what munk and andy said though ... having to consider getting a contract phone as i have no DD's or utilty bills ... had to write off two bookies so far who offer relaods after busting out (strange almost all ask after youve lost money everything lol) as they want some sort of bill as id
