Five Go Matched Betting (two mysteries in one)
After a day out fishing Julian, Dick, Ann, and George return to Kirrin Cottage to find that Timmy the dog has been kidnapped. There is a ransom note claiming to be from explaining that if Aunt Fanny doesn't return the 800 euros she successfully withdrew from tipico the dog will be sold to cover their losses. The five (or rather now four) must travel to Germany and rescue their loyal companion however they don't have the cash. As they begin to save money for their journey they discover a number of shocking clues which hint at something untoward right on their very own doorstep. Why is Uncle Quentin acting suspiciously all of a sudden? What happened to their share of the referral from their betfair signups? And most suspiciously of all why are their several letters in Uncle Quentins study addressed to Timmy the dog from Bet365, William Hill, and Skybet?
After exposing this gnoming operation and dealing with the betrayal by Uncle Quentin they decide to try and focus on rescuing Timmy. On arrival in germany they are apprehended by the CEO of tipico and are chained up in the Trading Room. Will the LGA get to them on time (probably not)?
