Thanks for the inspiration. A bit of a visual learner myself, so may try a similar sort of thing. Bet365 looks like it was an earner for you.
Thanks for the kind words brummieboy.
I'm surprised I can be an inspiration given some of the vast sums some people are making here, still I like how just ticking along can give quite a nice return
Bet365 was the gift that just kept giving! Despite messing up one of the free £50 bets it has been a very nice account to me. I'd advise people to get into betting on horses for the qualifers and the freebets. These gave me an additional £80 profit or so when the odds shifted in my favour (they can only shift in your favour - other than rule 4). Also their mobile offer was pretty nice.
There are a couple of 50p-£1 arbs I've done on here - nothing serious just a way of getting money back into betfair. I have yet to have any success with the Channel 4 offer - much because I don't want to sit in front of my PC all saturday if I can help it.
Thanks once again!
Interesting reading, thanks!
I've been doing this for a few months now (made a couple of mistakes along the way) but hoping to break through the £1K barrier like yourself. I'm up to £746 so far!
I've never dared get into the horses, always seems a bit too complicated. I might give it a go one of these days if I'm feeling brave.
All the best!
What confuses you? It is not complicated, you back a Horse to win the race, and you lay the same Horse to win the same race for an amount you are happy with. Easy.

The eventual odds can change due to Rule4 but it happens rarely and the odds will move the same way so dont worry about it.
Make sure you back and lay to win, dont use the EW or Place markets.
Thats about it really, there is nothing else I can think of to be "complicated". Maybe start a new thread about it and explain why you dont fancy it, then other people can chip in with how they felt initially/if they agree/why it might be a good idea to just do it anyway.
Have a plan and stick to it
I'm now in the same position as you were prior to week 21, basically thinking about doing a few casino bonuses.
After reading about your week, I'm off to start on littlewoods today.
Cheers for the Post
Thanks for the comments!
Littlewoods is a nice one to start with. I just ground it out at £1 a hand. Be warned this is very tedious, it took about 4 hours I rekon, most of that infront of the TV. I was determined not to loose this one as this really would have knocked my total down this week. So £80 for 4 hours "work" isn't too bad. The 32 red offer is pretty nice also.
If anyone has tips on where to go next I'd gladly take them, also happy that this diary is useful.
Hey Bish Congrats on your ace week and as commented previously, your charts are ace!
If you didn't mind the littlewoods WR give 888.com a go. It the same bonus - £25 upfront with the £75 after so much wagering, think it may be a tiny bit higher than the Littlewoods one though...
Also if you have a coral sports account their casino welcome bonus and monthly reloads are good, don't bother unless you have a sports account already though as you will lose the sign up bonus for them by doing the casino first. Good luck!!
Hi, I've just been reading through your diary, I done a similar thing with Will Hills BOGOF, I thought I had clicked for the free bet, but I actually had used my own money & only realised after the event. I emailed them & explained that I thought I had selected the free bet but it didn't seem to of registered it & they kindly refunded me the money, so always worth contacting them if something like that happens again. They were very helpful :0)
Anyway your diary makes a good read, helped motivate me into doing my next bookie!! Your doing really well!
Hi Srh - thanks for the tip, I'm on it hopefully this week thanks very much.
Swift - cheers indeed for the comments, I'm glad the diary helps.
I'm feeling a tad un-motivated this week, I know its only Monday so I hope things (my motivation) picks up. The lack of football is making things a bit more tricky, never mind. Also glad to hear you got your money back from will hill, also glad to hear is wan't just me that managed to bet my own money!
Cheers and good luck, head back for updates.
