Posting it since it's a World Cup song made by people on my street... in fact, it's shot on my street too inside the local Coral.

I just got the new LCD Soundsystem album today, still not sure about it but first track is pretty catchy:

though goes a bit bonkers at several places... to be expected with LCD Soundsystem I suppose and usually it grows on me.

My good sir, on that one point you are completely wrong. It is an amazing album; it is certainly different, but it grew on me and I'm still listening to - which is something I don't seem to manage.

Seeing as most of you seem to be listening to boring old farts' music, I'll add a couple of modern tunes.

From two years ago - Benga & Coki - Night

    Randomer - Synth Geek

And to prove that I'm not really a late teen, electronic-obsessed kid, here's a tune from my favourite album of all time:
    Gang of Four - Anthrax

To finally put a nail in the coffin to the idea that am cool; a leftfield one - Sir John Betjeman - The licorice Fields of Pontefract

I don't know what it says about me then I did really like those first two clips... just the right side of too dark for me

On a leftfield tip then here's some northern soul perfect for this sun we're having:

That David Holmes essential mix truly is a classic. It took me about 7 years to find a copy of it after first hearing it go out on the radio. The album version is not as good as the longer version that was on Radio 1.

Found a Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers CD at a Garage Sale a few weeks ago
    Got it almost Free
Played the CD and the last song was Something in the Air
This was a great hit for Thunderclap Newman in the late 60s
Tom Pettys version of the great song was as good
I cant get the song out of my head

By far the best version of the song i've ever heard - eat your heart out x-factor contestants!
