Stumbled upon Sasha and Digweed Northern Exposure sets, very nice. 0 North especially.

I've been listening to Thelonius Monk a lot recently. Strange because I've not really been a huge jazz fan before but I seem to be getting into it. Anyone else use Spotify ? A world of music. Instant, simple and free BTW? It's an online streaming music source with a pretty huge library and all perfectly legal & above board. There are a few gaps in the catalogue, presumably because some sources like to keep their rights strictly under control and don't want to enter into a licensing agreement - not much Zappa for instance. You're not supposed to record from spotify but I guess there is nothing to prevent you from capturing the stream if you want although, if you have a PC hooked up to your music system, there's not really much need to record. There is a paid version of spotify but the free version is fine for me - you just have to put up with some adverts every half an hour or so. You do have to download it and run it as an application but I've checked it thoroughly and it seems to be fine. I'm very impressed.

I use spotify chriso - quite good for my laptop in the lab, you can get access to most songs without the hassle of downloading etc.
