I use a nokia 5800 ( get the dearer one with the stylus ) dead simple to use, and running skyfire, 95% of betting sites look just the same as in front of a pc. Fairly big screen with zoom too.
Love being at work and still being able to bet :-)

bump...
I've just joined the masses and got an iphone 4. It's brilliant but not really used it for matched betting yet. the ibetmate app looks good for bf but can anyone recommend a simple matched I can use online when out and about? I guess getting an excel file to work on the iPhone might be a bit tricky?
cheers

The Betfair app is a must of course. If you are jailbroken install Frash to allow you to use Flash sites, a lot of bookies websites use that these days, especially for "live" betting (which is what I find I use my phone for most)

For working out back/lays I use this on the iphone :
oddschecker
Also, if you do casino's the simple (and free) Tally Counter app is great for mindlessly counting how many hands of BJ you've played.

this may seem a really dumb question but if I use the BF lite app on my nokia 5800 I cant find on the screen where a decimal point is. So can only bet in full numers :-(
not allowed to bet in work so might just treat myself to a cheap tablet :-) and go find a pub with WiFi

For an Iphone alternative checkout the HTC Desire. These can be had now for £35 a month and have everything an Iphone has (android app instead of iphone apps) I've had one for a few months now. Only placed a few emergency bets on it, but worked OK, I think only betfred site didn't load at all so far, Betfair is accessed vie their android app or the full site works OK. Most bookies have an app or a dedicated mobile site now.
Ladylucks casino is also much better, you can play their web based casino on a smartphone instead of through the painfully slow java apps.

I use the HTC Desire and can highly recommend it. You can get it for £25 on three or with the ONE plan with unlimited data (Yep, proper unlimited) for £30 a month. Can use it for tethering , so those that take their laptop out and about you can basically have t'internet on the go without having to fork out for additional dongle's/mifi.
