Doing advantage gambling Full time?
Just wondered how many of us did this as their main income?
Just saw kidpokers schedule and it seems he does this as his main income.
i originally looked at this as a bit of extra cash but from reading the credit crunch £400 challenge i can def see at least a few members earning a nice figure per month.

Yes, i do this full time, that is mainly why i have a schudule for it. It helps keep everything undercontrol and in line.
The nice thing about advantage gambling, you have many jobs and still do this. Especially if you are just match betting and doing some casinos on the side. It is easy to set aside time to do this. I would be interested though how many others do this full time or at least as their main source of income.
PM me for special deals I might have for Most US books. I have many special bonuses that i dont always post about, but i do have, so dont hesitate to PM me.

For me it's currently a source of extra Income but in the future..who knows - i do have a tendency to upturn every stone when I study something and can certainly see the potential.
I think as everybody knows, it's not easy to do but the one advantage I see with this activity is that what's there, is there for the taking you just have to put in the work. Compare that to starting a business or something - you can put in masses of work and financial commitment and then fall flat on your face.
With Matched Betting etc, you more or less know what the outcome is going to be before you start.

I would like to be able to do this full-time. At the moement it isn't an option-my career is the most important thing. My objective is to use my profits to pay off my mortgage-and then who knows.

It's been my main form of income since I graduated 2 years ago, but then I have spent 18months of that travelling so it's not quite the same as some people's situation. I am looking for a "proper job" though and definitely won't be doing as much after that

I was thinking its pretty ironic that you could work in a bookies full time and still not earn as much as some of those who are doing matched betting in their "spare" time per month!

That is true but I think to be successful at Matched Betting you need to be quite resourceful, creative, systematic and quick thinking. Working in a Betting shop is a minimum wage type job, yes, they probably understand odds etc but they are only processing the bets.

With work being a real drag at the moment I've thought that same thing. Bottom line is, even if I could make close to my salary doing this, which I can't - I would still sacrifice my salary to do so. As it is now I have my wage and my matchbetting.
Gambling profits are tax free so a £1000 profit is actually like £1400 earnt. Useful way of looking at the true value of your profits (especially when you've had a bad month!).
One thing this would allow me to do, if it came to it is support the family if I was out of work (albeit on rations) - that said, the time would probably be better spent getting a new job.
For people that are making their living from this, if they're managing to earn > £2k per month and keep a healthy float, and not spend more than 6 hours a day doing it then I think that is absolutely fantastic and I hope it lasts for a long time to come!

But for me you hit the nail on the head-the key is longevity, keeping your accounts alive. I lose accounts every month-Betfred, Supersoccer this month. There is no guarantee that this will go on and if I was doing this full-time problems like Heroes would cause me to lose alot of sleep-not just a little

I'm a full-time mum, and with childcare so expensive I work from home and this is my main source of income...
