prime scratch cards had an advert on hotmail.... about some Rick guy who used his free fiver and "guess what" he won £250,000... it was accompanied with a photo of said chap... but the very same quote for prime scratchcards was accompanied by a photo of a different chap... and "guess what" (as they both so neatly put it),..... he also used his free £5 to win £250,000
received an email last week from Paddy Power saying: "Congratulations - Another Paddy Power Refund: Anyone for Seconds? 2.10 Goodwood Money Back 2nd"
and in the body:
"Congratulations. Our Anyone for Seconds? 2.10 Goodwood Money Back 2nd has clicked which means we're giving you your money back."
got my hopes up for a second.. - but then I realised that I hadn't even placed a bet on the 2:10 at Goodwood....
goes without saying that there was no refund in my Paddy account either...
had another slightly odd one from Victor Chandler as well.. - this time it was just a standard marketing email.. - it had my correct email address, correct firstname in the email but where it had "you user id:" it was something completely different - and definitely not my userid..!
Yup, I think PP's emails must have gone a bit wrong of late because I got one of those refund emails too for a race I hadn't bet on.
Today's Interwetten homepage banner asks the pressing question on all our minds...
"Can ManU persist in the loudest stadium in the world?"
At the bottom of Betinternet marketing emails proudly state in bold letters "W T F"
Looks like "piss poor" is literally off the scale.

3. What, if any improvements to the service would you like to see?
It's a text box, with text in it, wtf is invalid with that?!!
Still, nearly christmas...
Yeah I filled that out the other day... they seemed to have swapped some of the 'unsatisfactory' boxes with the 'satisfactory' boxes as well... no idea if that was some cynical ploy to stroke their egos with people ticking 'satisfactory' by mistake.
I made it really clear what I thought about their odds and bonuses when I answered the survey!
