Humble Beginnings
I've been doing these Free Bets now for over a month now and am pleased at how it has turned out. I haven't done loads yet but I'm slowly working my way through different bookies and finishing off the TGT Refer a Friend program. Anyway, I started this to share my experiences with other new members or guys looking into it.
TGT Refer a Friend
- I opened a moneybookers account and kindly received £50 from TGT.
- I opened a Betfair account and after wagering through £100 got a £50 referal bonus.
- I signed up to BetShop and left with £26 profit after underlaying 3 times with the £20 bonus from TGT.
- I then joined Lucky Ace Casino and was lucky enough to almost double up on that, making another £20.
Jaxx
- I thought Jaxx looked like a good one to start with and I made about £18 profit from a £25 free bet.
Betway
- These lot also looked decent enough and I got about £16 from a £25 free bet, mainly due to impatience. I got bored waiting for a good arb and just took anything.
That's me up to date now, a total of £205 in the green. I still need to finish off the Refer a Friend which will earn me another £50 or maybe more if I turn out to be a poker ace, although I doubt that. Then I'll start some serious free betting.

Betfair has a £50 referral bonus through the TGT?
Anyways, your doing well enough as it is. I love helping new people go through this, I've done it so many times now it's second nature to me so PM me if you want any advice on casino's, which bookies to hit first or advanced strategy such as underlaying. I'd be happy to go through it with you.
Long may your prosperity continue .

It is normally £25 the £50 was because Betfair decided to double it that month. The 0% Commission lasts one month and is capped at a £100 refund.
Have a plan and stick to it

I haven't claimed back my commission yet as it is around the £1 mark. I dont think I quite made full use of the possible £100 up for grabs!

I gave you a small list of the easiest 4 after you get the basket done. Get through that and let me know your float etc and I can suggest the next plan of attack shortly after.

What were those 4? If you posted it here rather than PM'd it then everyone could learn/benefit from it and/or suggest some that maybe are better/you missed?
If it wasnt on there I would say Betclick should be one as its small, easy (may involve just one bet) and the sooner you are available to benefit from their reload offers (Casino and Sportsbook) the better.

Just the old SR ones .. Betchronicle, Bet24, Expekt and Betdaq's £25.
Obviously those (After betfair) are advisable for everyone to do first. Just for the fact the SR's, don't require a huge float and build you up pretty rapidly.
After that, the "next best" depends on your float size and positioning, the next obvious choice is Victor Chandler, with the games bonus, promocash being splittable and the casino chip, then I guess Stan James, after that it starts becoming slightly more dependent upon float size and where the money is. The ones I suggested for my brother were far different than the ones I suggested for the other guy i've showed MB'ing too... he had a much larger float though.

Thanks, guys. The 'best sites to do' in the beginning do indeed change depending on your float, and over time. I think an ongoing thread like this could really help make the site even more accessible to newcomers to MBing.
