Is that the badger brewery one? Delicious if so. My local Tesco used to do "The Badger Set" which was 3 or 4 badget brewery ales. They also brew Fursty Ferret which is another favourite.

last night was mostly sang som and coke , feel the pain now.
This week I have been mostly drinking:
Sharp's Doom Bar
Wells Banana Bread Beer
The others I have forgotten about (they get rotated a lot in the pubs I go in)
Highland Park 16yo Whisky (12yo that I bought about 4 years ago)
I am a spoilsport and I dont drink. There are many reasons for this but one of them is that I have at my fingertips and a few clicks away my entire financial worth, if I ever got drunk and then sat at a PC it is possible I could lose the lot, or at least a sickeningly large sum, because I am stupid (whilst drunk).
This is a bit extreme and there were other reasons, but one of the main ones was after seeing how stupid people can be gambling whilst drunk I decided I would not let myself ever be one of them. I know you could just say "dont go near a PC then" but the risk and consequences are too great to chance it.
P.S. When I did drink though Orange WKDs, Malibu and Cokes, and bottles of Shinzano were all great
Have a plan and stick to it
Like the girly drinks do you andy?

I went to my doctor maybe four months ago now and he we went through the standard "do you smoke or drink or would you consider unprotected sex with me?" thing and when I answered "no, no, again?" he was all "seriously, you don't drink?" and started going "not even now and then, a small glass of wine?" as if it was a crime not to drink. At that point I hadn't had a drink since my son was born so around 19 months although I tend to keep an alcohol cupboard stocked to some extent. Reason being I've always thought that the best way to deal with burglars you catch in the process of robbing your possessions is to offer them a drink and the chance to sit down and explain their actions. That way it gives you a chance to explain that you've a family and taking things isn't fair. Then you shoot them of course but you've at least cleared the air and got to know them a bit.

I was staggering all over the place, asking policemen if their head went all the way to the top of their hats, rearranging cones on a motorway to direct all traffic to Stoke. So here's to another 2 years without a tipple.
This drink I have been mostly weeking:
I like most lagers (but not the psycho syrups) and love proper real ales, but you really have to drink them from the pump, not many carry over properly to cans/bottles.
But I've gone all mainstream over the last few months (bearing in mind my current unit intake is probably in the 4 - 6 per week bracket) and love St Edmunds beer from Green King - a great summer pint and ok in bottles.
Saturday night was a bit rough though, swmbo said she'd do a 'special' dinner for the 2 of us - wahey, "fruity time" as my youngest calls it!!
Get home from work just after 2pm and she says plans have changed, dinner first then round friends as it was Bob's birthday
So, as I'd been up since 03.30, and after drinking a variety of Polish/Lithuanian/Latvian chemical bleaches masquerading as drinks, plus the bottle of wine with our dinner, and the bottle of Kir Royale Bob had insisted I mix, and then drink as nobody else liked it and then a nice Châteauneuf du pape , fruity time was off the menu and I couldn't for the life of me understand why she had the hump?!!
Still, my birthday soon so may get lucky...
Yeah I had a few St Edmunds this summer, most pubs around me are Green King so I see it a lot.
I like the idea of tasting some new ales with the monday night poker. I play a regular homegame with work people and its more of an ale club than a poker game.
Well I joined in with Reaper tonight on the Ale/Poker club! Very good indeed. Ended up buying some Leffe Bruin which was on special offer for only £2.49 for a 75cl bottle, bargainous (wish I'd got some more now, very good price that for saying you're half cut from just one bottle!). Oh and it tastes very nice too... always makes me think of mead... kind of a cross between special brew and Pedigree or something like that.
Saw some other really funky looking beers in Sainsburys tonight though, there's one that was in a wax paper wrapper that looked interesting, think it was raspberry flavoured (is that what fromboise means in french?!). Might have a go with some of that next week just to try it out.
I mentioned it earlier though Reaper, I got the 'Badger Sett' - four bottles of Badger beers... just hoping that fursty ferret is in there now!
