    spare time

Just wondering what some other people do on their downtown when they are not betting, working, etc.

I dont watch much tv. The only show I really watch is the Office and old seinfeld eposides. Dont know if you people across the pond can see these shows, but they are classic. I do love watching movies though. I golf at least 2 times a week. I bowl once a week in a league. I volleyball once a week in a league. And play softball twice a week in a league. Now it is getting close to winter time here so I will have much more extra time than in the summer. Just wondering if the NON US people have similiar hobbies. Dont you guys play cricket or something over there for fun. HA
PM me for special deals I might have for Most US books. I have many special bonuses that i dont always post about, but i do have, so dont hesitate to PM me.

good answer. I used to be like that. I didnt have any except going to the bars. But lately decided to get more active and do more fun things in life that I wont be able to do when i get older. But beleive me, it has cut into my profits also.

I have recently spent quite a bit of time learning photo editing and also bought a nice SLR camera as I want to get into photography.

I generally have most my weekends taken up as I run a small company hiring out chocolate fountains for weddings / parties etc..

I try to go see bands I like when there on (Green Day next week)

Also a fan of clubbing but only go once a month if that.

I am the master of starting new hobbies and have a houseful of clutter from my sudden enthusiasm for something new... (there must be a name for people like me starting with neo)... unfortunately my husband is of a similar nature and so items cluttering our house include a book on writing sitcoms, a telescope, books on learning various programmer languages, guitars, a keyboard, various sports kits and accessories including ski gear and a pool cue, lots of art gear and canvases, many books/cds on learning French and Spanish, some half written books, half started websites, a company that has never traded etc. etc. you get the idea.

Things I do do (snigger) include running in races or just around where I live, I read fantasy books, I like watching films and stand-up comedy and lots of surfing the web. It's also nice to go down the pub on a weekend with the kids and the cat (who follows us like a dog) I reckon I'll do more when my kids are a bit lower maintenance or can do stuff with me.

Oh and rambling on in my infrequent forum postings

Hey! The Office is a BRITISH show stolen and modified by you Yanks!

Seriously though, the original with Ricky Gervais kicks the US version's ass

I play golf once or twice a week, go to free movies a couple of times a month and watch a fair amount of TV/movies/documentories online.

Used to make rap music now i'm in the same boat as Andy.

The phrase "spare time" rings a bell but can't quite remember what it was.

Ha ha I'm like you, theres been photography, langauges, psychology, drawing cartoons, guitars, ice skating & many more things that I started & never finished!

Things i do actually do are rock climbing, cinema, reading, watching tv (bit addicted to Flash Forward at the moment), clubbing now & again but getting bit old for that now!
