I've hit the wall!
Like many people before me, I've hit the wall. I happened to find myself face first in the brick about 6 months ago and haven't been able to get back into it.
I made about £10k doing casino's and sports bonus, so I had a good run, but I know there is easily (maybe not as easy as the first time) another £10k to be had.
Just wondering what people have done to get over the wall and remotivate themselves to make money?
Sort of along those lines is this thread:
It might be easier to motivate yourself if you break it down into chunks, aim to make £X from one thing a week, £X by the end of the month doing something else, etc etc. Have lots of bitesized targets rather than one big "Make £10k" which can be hard to ever feel like your eating into. Hitting lots of little successes can keep you going.
Have a plan and stick to it
I think most people need to take a break from this too.
I tend to have a month off at least once if not twice a year. Still do any quick easy offers, but don't spend hours arbing.
The break will do you good, but don't come back and decide you need to make your £10k in the next couple of months and put pressure on yourself.
you haven't hit the wall at all! I only do a new signup once a month or so but still turn well over £1000 out of it from the existing offers, Laddies is worth loads every month (although not so much this month it looks like).
was going to make a post about that gibber...
just realised we are in november and no really good laddies offers??
hope its not a sign of things to come...
I hit the wall last year. Made about 1k in 4 weeks just match betting mainly during euro08 then stopped for a few weeks as went on holiday and thought fresh start at start of the season and then did not bother for the whole season.
Started up slowly again in june and made about 1.5k so far, a weekly target is a good idea.
I'm very much the same. However, my aim is now to just earn £371.57 a month so that it pays for my loan. Anything over and above is purely a bonus and I can pick and choose what I do. Set yourself a goal. Nothing too major. You've got more chance of hitting that then.
I tend to set myself a weekly target. My current target is £200 per week, I look at everything over that as a bonus. Most weeks I have passed that mark by some distance but every Monday (the start of my week) I am keen and fresh to go. Usually by Saturday I'm a bit pi**ed off but then I look at my 42" plasma sat in my nice new clothes maybe listening to my quality Denon system (all paid for with the proceeds of my MB and casino exploits) and it wills me on to keep going.
I also think about a job that I used to do a few years ago as a Drayman, 45 hours a week of solid bastard hard graft, almost fooking dead by Friday and all for less than what I am averaging a week now.
That thought alone motivates me.
I found when I hit 10K I also hit a wall. I found myself just looking for big offers though and was neglecting the little £2-£3 offers.
My tip would not to miss these as they can mount up.
I dread to think how much the Willhill bogoffs have been worth over time!

I have to admit that it is tougher when all the main signup bonuses are done but there's still plenty enough to be kept busy and as you said it all adds up at the end of the day although at the time can be tedious.
