    The Xbox/PS3/PC/etc Gaming Thread

Surely I'm not the only person playing this mammoth game online? Anyone else got it on the X-Box / PS3?

My matched betting is suffering as a result of this work of art but my utility levels are high as ever!

    Wow what a game

    Note:
I've changed the title on this thread to 'computer gaming' in general since it starts trailing off further down the thread to include other games and strictly speaking this is off topic for the forum so probably best to keep all talk of gaming in one thread!

Amazing game, bargain at £26 from Sainsburys.

This is the first game I've played online (PS3). I played last night and had my ass handed to me on a plate by (quite possibly) 12-year-olds - amazing fun though and will do the same tonight!

If you Fancy witnessing the greatest himself in action on the ps3 add me "Super Dash BS5"
Don't play all too seriously usually just with the knife and shotgun or a sniper .. add a bit of a challenge to the game but my skills are legendary if I say so myself lol

I read in the paper you can (well, could) get COD4 for just £10 from HMV if you swap an old game at the same time. However probably just a promo for the launch and long gone by now.

I was quite tempted to get cod4 though, never played any cod at all but heard great things about it... am waiting until xmas, maybe santa might bring it

Is this the one where you have to shoot the little spaceships as they gradually move backwards & forwards across the screen? Or is it the one where you are a little yellow circle that eats a lot of dots....?

First Person Shooters are a bit rubbish on the PSP - controls are not really built for them.

The new Assassins Creed and Little Big Planet are rather good.

I'm a bit late to join the game on this one, but should be getting this soon (got a PS3 for xmas and treated myself to a kick-ass huge plasma with my MBing winnings )

Hope it's as good as everyone's making out! Last first-person shooter I played was 'Timesplitters - future perfect' for the PS2 and before that it was Goldeneye for the N64...

My names betty_swollocks and im addicted to Modern Warfare 2.

Im currently going through cold turkey due to the dreaded Red Ring of Death. Im past the shakes but i occasionally get the impulse to purchase a SCAR sub machine gun (with silencer), stun grenades & cold pack, go into Ninja stealth mode and hunt down the neighbours.

Don't worry ive found by reverting back to COD2 on my PC these urges do go away

Dave - I loved goldeneye on N64, it was an absolute gem, many happy memories playing sniper rifle vs golden gun.

Off now to find an N64 emulator foir me pc
