What's your favourite online gaming?
Not really talking about AP here, although if you get a particular kick out of some offer that would be interesting too.
But what's your favourite online gaming pursuit? I.e. site & medium. Could be a particular slot, could be a particular type of bet, could be anything!
I have a few. Depending on my mood I enjoy any or all of the following:
Poker: pretty much every form of it. Purely software-wise I like the client's at Party (nostalgia), Poker4Ever (just a quirky fun little client) & PKR.
Backgammon: No favourite site but I enjoy the game when I'm in the mood.
Guts & other games: Used to play this at Tiger gaming. Quite addictive, some of the gamblers here would enjoy it IMO.
Mug punting: Mostly on horses, especially jumps, particularly mid-long priced horses in big races. Plus I enjoy the odd cheeky patent & there's nothing quite like the warm glow from a well placed ante post voucher.
So what's your favourite punt to while away some time just for fun?
I have never tried online poker (apart from playing at home when drunk) and it looks like you need to know what you're doing, which is why I like slots! You don't have to be on the ball, you can zone out (unless you play some of the rival slots).
Recently when I'm not betting or playing free bingo, I have been playing skill games on King.com. I only signed up to get cashback and since you didn't actually have to spend any money I still have my tenner sat in there. You can play the games for free and it gets quite addictive trying to beat someone and trying to beat your own score. Reminds me of being a kid.
I occasionally bet the odd fiver here and there on the footie, but inevitably get it wrong - something out of the ordinary always seems to happen - "chelsea look morose today" when they drew with Hull last week.
I like this thread
tbh, i hate anything and everything that feels like gambling. i only do it for the risk free money element.
i enjoy making free money so anything where the end result is profit i would do, although as you know Fella, i have loads of things still to get around to.
so basically, if there wasnt a risk free money making element to everything i do i wouldnt do anything for "fun".
Well i'll add my semi drunken thoughts.
I like playing poker, although i'm not that good - i tend to play my cards rather than players and rarely bluff.
I like matched betting. I'm good at it because i'm accurate and don't tend to make mistakes - just 1 major balls up in 3 years. I get a buzz out of making money from nothing, although i do sometimes think i think too much about money. In fact i just think too much!! I think (ffs) i actually like matched betting, and poker, because it concentrates my mind, taking it off other stuff.
pfpf peter says, no fun in proper gambling for me - i actually have semi sleepless nights if i leave a lay unmatched overnight - that's why i never do that now - almost never queue for odds either (i did a bit on the will hill bogof today, but that was a free bet)
I like horse racing, and would love to expand my knowledge of it. Do a scoop6 each week rather than buy a lottery ticket. Also love going to the races, although now begrudge mug punting my bets. Might wear my TGT hoodie next time i'm at Rasen
Still get a buzz when i find an arb too.

Without a dount it has to be Microgaming Casino software, Thunderstruck, and having the Atomic sheep repeat inside the Atomic Sheep twice at £2.25 a spin. Without a doubt the most fun you could ever have, ever. FACT. Anybody who says differently has not had that happen. Find me one person, just one, who has experienced that and still thinks there is a (legal) greater high!

"Money, Money, Fun, and Money." is an exact quote I can remember from the discussion that led to this website. To increase the amount of those things. If ever either of those stop, this website stops.
Have a plan and stick to it
I am really into footie so spend most of my time matching bets, but I enjoy weighting the bet the way I think it will go. Thats why this site is so good. I have learnt the basics over at MSE a couple of years ago and sure enough made money. The difference here is I make money and as Andy says, its fun. The other favourite that is just developing is poker. I'm still learning and giving my hard earned cash to one or two of the other members here, but I consider it a down payment for the knowledge they share with me. Casino's have been a bit of a non starter for me. I have only started Ladbrokes( about a year ago) and still haven't completed the WR.

So gaming in general for fun - the only thing I do play that involves gambling without expecting to win money is poker which I thoroughly enjoy - but thats a game of skill with a little luck thrown in - most gaming isn't to be honest...
