Nah, lovely scoot but I dont like all the lights and mirrors personally. Still wouldnt say no as its an iconic scooter from a classic film.

Didn't expect to find a cars thread but i have to say the best car I've ever driven is a Saab 900 Turbo. The car was from the 80's when Turbos were not softened. I could hold my own with wrx's and evo's for a fraction of the price. Any other Saab fans?

I have wanted something like that for years.

Cant see how I will use it enough to justify the purchase though.

Mrs' went spare when I bought my Hyundai coupe (old model with the celica like front end). I think I would be divorced if I bought a scooter.

The thing is I thought I had done well as I was sure I could get 2 baby seats in the back. Unlike the MX5 (mark1 with the pop up lights) that I have ALWAYS wanted.

At primary school, me and all my mates used to listen to The Who and wanted to be Mods and get scooters when we grew up. Well, I never became a Mod, and I never got the scooter. But, God damn it, I still listen to Quadrophenia all the time!

I've always classed myself as a mod even when I was dancing in fields round the M25! To me its more about the way you live than parkas and tonic suits. Always wanted scooter but had to wait this long as life tends to get in the way of dreams.
