    New Limits on Gubbed Accounts!?

Not sure how useful this might be, or whether it has been mentioned already but, if you have accounts at bookies that were limited to peanuts, I would advise having a quick look to see whether these limits have been increased.

Without naming names, a number of my accounts with UK bookies appear to have been resurrected, presumably because of the World Cup, and I can now bet hundreds where I was previously limited to single figures.

I'm sure this will only last for the duration of the tournament (if that) but it has proved handy already.

Needless to say, this hasn't affected any limits at 365, they need to keep the purse strings tight to pay for shit TV adverts.

Thanks for pointing this out (I've moved it here as it helps keep the similar info together). But yeah, you sometimes find better limits at different times like World Cup, Grand National...

I was using my Paddy Power account to fulfil the requirements for the Road To South Africa promotion with Moneybookers. Eventually, Paddy Power closed my account though; previously they had just limited my bets to £0.

There have been a few whims of people ungubbing accounts.

I've been fortunate to only have 1 account gubbed sofar, but with the limits I keep on betting small when my BF balance is low.

It still earns me more than the micro arbs at IW!

ladbrokes have bonus banned me, but said I can contact them and have it reviewed in 3 months time, just debating whether its worth trying a few bets to try and rescue it.

will probably have a few bets, a bit of casino play and then try and resurrect it.

I think my limits at sportingbet are slowly but steadily improving.

I had a lot of free money in there which I was trying to arb out, 80p or so at a time, on high odds. Recently I have been using them to punt on David's tips, which are obviously on much lower odds - still a good return on free (SNR) money as long as the odds are over 2, and much easier than matching bets 80p by 80p. I can now get over £4 on at a time, and the limits are still rising......

I was limiteded at 365 down to a few quid per bet. I kept making a few small bets now and again if I saw a good arb and also for a few multiples just for fun and friends. They have slowly let me start betting higher amounts lately.

This thread is making me consider having a few small bets at Bet365 and sees what happens.
