It would be a fantastic experience so going for the whole event would be great even if the job is lost. This is conditional on your financial situation, but if you do have decent savings then go and live off your savings and profits from advantage play when you return whilst looking for another job. AP can make up any difference from a reduced salary and in fact, with a decent float, your salary could be matched or exceeded from advantage play so this, trip to the world cup, could be an opportunity to get out of the nine to five grind and work for yourself if you are interested in doing that.

If the job is needed then go for option three as this oppurtunity should not be missed.

I would def take the third option and if Engerland are still in it when you time to return is up maybe a sneaky call to your boss telling him how great he is and is there any way he let you stay?? If he is in a good mood you never know.

your job won't give you the time off. (June/July is the biggest time of the year for us) note my job pays me £30k p/a (probably £7-8k above the odds for my qualifications and where I live (Cornwall is a poorly paid area). I really would not be able to get a job like it again.
