OK well this could be a bit of fun, there are 32 teams in it, so if everyone puts in a £5 thats £160, TGT can top it up a bit to £250 total prize money. This is available to TGT Premium Members only.

If your team wins the group they are in (Andys decision is final) you recieve £10

If your team comes third overall you recieve £20

If your team comes second overall you recieve £50

If your team wins the 2010 World Cup you recieve £100


(It is possible to win more than one prize, for example if your team wins the group then loses in the final, you will recieve £60 back)

Also as an EXTRA bonus for each game your team scores 3 goals you get a free entry into a TGT Poker tourney (worth $5).

If you would like to enter please E-mail andrew@thegamblingtimes.com with TGT World Cup Sweepstake in the subject and your forum username. Once all 32 spaces are filled you will be sent a link to send the £5 fee to. All prize money shall be paid out in one go the day after the final.

The draw shall be done "live" online just like the GNational one was. Personally I found that almost as much fun as the race. This will be done on Tuesday the 8th at 19:00. Details of how to watch shall be posted here once everybody is entered and the spaces filled. It is worth entering just for this bit

It's an external website capable of generating a live draw. I think Andy types in all the countries and all the entrants and sets a time and date for the draw to occur. When that time arrives, we can all visit the site and watch the computer randomly match users to teams

This has now sold out in less than 12 hours! There is also two people who have just missed the cut and are now reserves (Never before has everyone in the original selections ALL actually bought a ticket in time).

You can see if you have a space in the opening post. How to pay will be posted here ASAP and you must send the £s before Friday. After that the place will be offered to the reserves. (People not paid by Fri morning will get an E-mail reminder).

Once the £s have been recieved the opening post will be edited and the list of names paid will be turned Bold. After the Draw we will put countries next to the names.
