Hello, does anyone have any experiance of these. What im talking about are the plug ins you can get for your computer so you can watch all different tv stations.Would these be any better than just watching bbc.com or itv.com.Im thinking about the world cup for games im not going to be able to use the tv.Many thanks.

Do you mean simply for recreation or do you intend to use it to trade with as well?

I dont have experiance of using a TV card/Plug in, but Iraqi goals (Weird name I know) is usually a pretty reliable stream of the game online. It is about 20 to 30 seconds behind real time and often betfair will suspend just before a corner is awarded, so you know in advance they score from it!

There are a number of different streaming sites I use though which do a job if you are not too fussed about the picture quality and commentry. I should imagine if you ask in the chatbox just before the game I or somebody will have a link for that match.
Have a plan and stick to it

I don't know anything about TV cards either I'm afraid, I debated getting one but with internet streaming being what it is nowadays and likely only to get better if not eventually rival and even better terrestrial digital TV, I decided against it.

If you're after an 'all in one' TV streaming service, this one is quite useful:

TVCatchup - Never Miss A Show Again

has all the main digital terrestrial channels. There is a bit more of a delay than with the 'regular' bbc/itv streams though because they transcode it from a raw signal (if that's the right 'terms' heh), but for basic viewing it's not too bad.

Failing that if there's a game on I usually watch the BBC or ITV streams.

    Other options for streaming are:

MyP2P.eu :: Live sports and Now Playing overview. Free Live Sports right now on your pc.
ATDHE.Net - Watch Free Live Sports TV

as well as the one Andy mentioned (which I haven't tried before I'll have to remember that one).

I can't recommend one but I have been looking at these too. The resounding message seems to be that it's not the TV stick that's important, it's the quality of your signal. Most people seem to agree you need a very good signal & that the dinky aerial supplied with most of these isn't up to much.
