Oh just seen this thread and i cant believe people are still having a go at the keeper.Lets not kid ourselves here england were and are rubbish and to start trying to blame anything/one else is just silly.
The only person for me that has to accept complete blame for the"goal that wasnt" is the lino,you can see reasons for the ref not being able to see it but not the lino.He should be struck off instantly and should never be involved in a football match again.
Also i dont see it in anyway shape or form as cheating by the keeper,how did he cheat.....
England were never in a million years gonna win this, i said so in the live chat before the wc kicked off and i got slated by a few.It should have been a goal it wouldnt have changed the outcome for me,the goalkeeper is in no way a cheat (to say that is laughable really)Blame the fa,blame the lino and blame the players but dont look any further than that.

If it was 2:1 for England and the goal line error happened against the Germans would we have bothered with this thread and lengthy discussions about what is right or wrong, sportsmanship, fair play etc etc etc?

Well, very poor result for me AP-wise tonight, but at least the cheating scum is dumped out, along with the even worse scum from Uruguay that got deservedly dumped out lst night.

Its the referees that are the cheating scums not the players. Irregardless of whether the latter play by the rules, the first are the governing body on the pitch and therefore should be dumped out if they cant do their job well enough.

Ah...but as and Englishman living in Scotland for the past 30yrs or so... I have come to understand its not the football team that rile them... its the media !
Wearing an England top in scotland does create some double looks..plus this year I was asked to leave a bar as "it caused offence to other patrons.."
Bigblue - I'm guessing your football loyalties lie on the blue side of Glasgow..... the other side had no one to support this year !! lol lol
