But to be honest, after reading this, I think I agree that I'd rather have £3000 over the next year than have £1000 over the next year, and the possibility of getting another £4000, say, if the bookies happen to put some big offers up.
The problem with this type of logic (with I used to see employed alot at MSE so I had in my head at one point) is that those max offers were not all maxed at the same time. At the time when Laddies / Coral went nuts at Cheltenham putting out £200 free bets in 09 Totesport cut back a bit (later to boost to £100 from £50 once Lad/Coral were lower) and Boylesports offered a measly £20 (from their previous £200 offer). Basically, looking at the all time greatest is effectively saying :

If I was go back in time I would have picked each of these at there (at that time) undetermined peaks.

I wouldn't worry in the slightest - if I make £100 the rest of the year thats £100 I may not have had, this isn't a job this is supplementary income. If this is your job (and you rely solely on sign ups etc) then yea, you may need to worry.

cheers Zen for adding this. How many hours did you spend AP during those 2 weeks tho?

Because at the moment I spend a fair few hours a day (mainly on learning) at the moment and really only have made about £800 in 2 months. I'm not complaining and think once I have learnt most methods then the time spend will perhaps be reduced with the profit increasing, but who knows.
