Apple Time Capsule and iPhone 3GS for sale brand new
Hi guys thought id ask on here first you never know!
Got a recently exchanged iPhone 3GS 32GB here for sale - brand new never used (exchanged just as i got my iPhone 4) fully boxed all supplied accessories. As you will be aware if in the know - 32GB 3GS's are no longer available to buy from apple.
Also for those using macs - have an Apple Time Capsule 500GB - also a recent swap out so is an official apple refurbished unit - but to all intents and purposes brand new (never used) - again fully boxed with all original supplied accessories. Great piece of kit this when you are mac based, especially when you want to keep those valuable spreadsheets safe - backs up your computer wirelessly in the background - you just set it up and leave it. If you ever want to retrieve a spreadsheet from 4 weeks ago you can easily - this has got me out of a mess a few times when trying to find an error on my spreadsheets.
Give me a shout if interested or any questions - if not both will be going on ebay shortly.

How much for - the iPhone 3GS? (Hoping you will not be, by any chance, taking advantage of the fact they will not be in distribution...)

I'd prefer to sell them outside of ebay ideally - as they do take a fair chunk off ya in fees, then paypal rinses you again!
Prices i have in mind are:
Time Capsule: £110 (approx 2 months apple warranty)
iPhone 3GS 32GB: £400 (officially unlocked by o2 - i'll check on warranty status think its got a month left)
I will cover postage for them if too far to deliver/pickup. I'm in manchester.

Is yours the same as this:
[ame=http://www.amazon.co.uk/Apple-iPhone-3GS-32GB-UNLOCKED/dp/B002D6WPYS]Apple iPhone 3GS 32GB UNLOCKED Mobile Phone: Amazon.co.uk: Electronics & Photo[/ame]
If it is, and you say it was never used, just an exchange, why the big discrepancy in cost?
(And I'm not suggesting that you hike the price either! )

Reasons are:
Because the one you post about is in a brand new retail, sealed box i would imagine. It will also have a full 1 year manufacturers warranty starting from the day you buy it. Although i must say £635 is a bit steep even for this - i would imagine you would probably get a 32GB unlocked sim free brand new iPhone4 for that. This particular seller is probably trying to cash in on the fact he has the 'last of a breed' as there are a lot of people out there who prefer the old iphone shape to that of the iphone 4 - and this would be one of the few ways of getting a 32gb version as they are no longer sold as retail.
Mine is brand new (but is an apple swapped out phone) so although I have the box from my old one (and all accessories) the serial number on the box does not match the handset. This also means its not sealed (as i used the original phone for a year). It also doesn't have full years warranty because when you get a phone swapped your existing warranty continues from first phone - it doesn't reset to 12 months again even though its a brand new phone. So you might ask.... how do you know it is brand new if it isnt sealed? Simple. A) I have the receipt from the phone swap from the apple store detailing the serial number/date/name/address etc. B) If you know anything about the iphone 3 design you will know that the highly finished surfaces of the back and the chrome bezel get scratched and marked very easily. Just a couple of days use and you would tell (even with a cover on) - this one is totally unmarked as you would expect from a brand new phone.
Hopefully this answers ok

That £635 is mental! You can get the iPhone 4 32GB sim free direct from apple for £599.

That's pretty much what I thought when I was doing some research and comparisons.
