Video Streaming Thread
Came across this some time ago: MyP2P.eu :: Live sports and Now Playing overview
Its a website that list stream links to various sports matches.
This site is great for watching US sports live (MLB, NFL, NBA etc).
Here is a quick guide.
I suggest to download streamtorrent, light and easy to use program.
Go to the website and select the game you want to watch, click on the little television. When the games are about to start you will see different links. Take the links that start with "st://XXXXXX".
Go to streamtorrent - Edit - Paste link
The Gambling Times - Threads Tagged with streaming
I thought there was already a streaming thread but guess not, this can be it I reckon.
I will try and keep the list below maintained, if anyone sees it out of date then just shout on the thread and I'll update it.
Currently working (at time of last edit at least):
- atdhe.net - seized by US DoJ (interesting anti-piracy Youtube clip shows up if you wait a few seconds)
- iraqgoals.tv - dead...
Many of these sites are less than clean, if you go there first and foremost make sure you have some kind of ad blocking measure in place (Adblock Plus on Firefox is good, same on Chrome). This will stop most of the annoying popups when you click on any of the stream links and remove the inline ads that cover the media player which are there with the intention of forcing you to watch them for a set amount of time (if you've got Adblock+ installed you'll just see tiny little 'x' marks which indicate the top of the corners of where the ads would have been, you can safely click those to remove them).
Next make sure you don't download any of the apps from the sites in question - one example is First Row Sports which has an app on offer for download to stream straight from your desktop. This app is a huge pile of junk and is riddled with adware - even if you try and cancel out of the installation before going ahead with it, the adware is still installed and you'll have the annoying task of uninstalling all the various search toolbars and popup apps and so on that were installed (a hint at how malicious this piece of junk is - it installs something called 'Browser Shield' which blocks you from easily changing the hijacked internet settings that it's put in place). Avoid at all costs basically.
If you do happen to install that then the best bet / easiest thing is to restore your system using system restore, although you still need to revert your Firefox / IE / Chrome profiles back to what they were previously which is very annoying. See here for more info on removing the FirsRowSports adware.

Fromsport is another good one.....not much you can`t find on there including US sports
From Sport - Watch Live Sports Online
I always go for SOP Cast where possible as I find it to be rock solid. I'm sure there are new players coming out all the time, it's a big big (streaming) world out there.
Thanks for that site Craig, new one on me.
Another vote for sopcast here. I watch a couple of matches a week on myp2p and most of the time sopcast is available as a choice. If not, there's generally an internet link e.g. iraqgoals to watch the match.
How to watch football matches online
I've heard people talking about streaming football matches online so that if you haven't got sky sports you can watch them on your laptop.
Is this illegal? If not, how can I do this, what are some good sites?
try atdhe.net, get all sorts on there

fromsport.com is also pretty good, all sorts on there...no need to download anything. As for the legality, I know there was a big fuss about a year ago with sky trying to get justin.tv closed down but they are still up and running. I don`t think there is anything to worry about from our end, will be the site owners held responsible if at all I would think.
MyP2P is down in the last week or so (they had a replacement for a while but now their whole domain is down) - anyone know of a good alternative to MyP2P (pref one that lists/indexes streams like they did so I can search for random sports events)?
