    M-bing in France.

Does any one have any experience of match betting in France. I intend to spend some time over there in the near future.
I notice a lot of the Bookies dont include France in the list of included countries. I have also read somewhere that Betfair has been outlawed! Different gambling laws etc.

I believe they tax the bookies/charge them for operating licences. Betting online/operating a bookie was legalized before the summer.

Betfair is not legal as it is an exchange and not a standard bookie. I am unsure if they are able to get around this technicality by saying "they are betting against Betfair Malta Ltd" (as is everyone outside the UK) or not. I do know that Betfair and lots of other big players are considering getting a licence to operate in France.

www.eurosportbet.fr is a good place to start if you go there. You will however need a french bank account to open an account.
