The casino offer was 100% refund on losses upto £100. For new customers. I think it may have ran out now, there is a link in the casino thread so it might be worth checking if that is still active. Sorry I'm a bit of a luddite so not sure how to copy the link, or if it would even be aloud as it is from the members section. Just look down the list for William Hill 100%SUB or something of that ilk and that will be the one.
I'm not sure how the terms work even now so I just stuck £50, max bet, on black and hoped for the best. Thankfully somebody was looking down on me and it came in.
Hope that helps but if you need anything else just give me a shout
Ascot_Ed already said it earlier, but I think you should really do some spreadbetting stuff now.
Read this for info: http://www.thegamblingtimes.com/boar...ing-guide.html
It's very simple really, and not much different to normal matched betting/arbing.
As for offers, well, the money won't hit your account straight away for some of them (some of them the £100 sign up bonus has to sit in your account for 3 months before you can withdraw) but it will definitely get there by May.
Tradefair - 5 trades = £100 stuck in account for 3 months
Paddy Power Trader - 4 trades = £100 stuck in account for 3 months (only allowed one of tradefair or paddy power as both regulated by LCG)
Finspreads - 3 trades = £100 stuck in account for 3 months (I think)
Then there are places like financialspreads that have a £70 offer (LCG though again), and VCFinancials, SpreadEx all have refund on loss offers.
Then Sports Spread, Sporting Index and Spread Co all have £100 - £200 offers on at the minute.
Now that I've done all the easy UK offers like you, I'm focussing on this as there is really £500-750 worth of bonuses there from only about 5-6 companies, with very little work, so in terms of value for money (and time) it's well worth looking at that.

Is it just the bonus that is tied up for 3 months?
I'm also wary of Sportsspreads at the minute due to the term that says you have to win or lose £20 for your spread to be counted as a qualifier, I'm not sure how tou calculate this so may leave them for a bit.
Thanks very much for taking the time to provide this info.
Week 4 24/01/2011 30/01/2011
Well my first month is now complete and I am happy with the start to the challenge. I’m about where I need to be so all is good. The future sign ups will be a big challenge though as it seems the next ones to do come with big WRs. I imagine this is the stage of MBing that separates the wheat from the chaff as the easy matched deposit bonuses with no WR have long gone. Alas I will crack on and see where it takes me. Personally I’m looking forward to the challenge. I still have one eye on America and am looking to get in ASAP. The hold up is that I intend to play these books how I interpret they should be played i.e. deposit money in there and don’t withdraw and as such need to make sure I have enough left here to arb etc!
This week was a prime of example of the old adage money attracts money. My float is quite small, around £2000, and if I had double this then I would have been able to add another £100 odd on top of my total. Rather than get me down all this has done is serve to focus me to get to the levels where I have a large float.
Sorry for the late diary entry I kept forgetting to print of my weekly results!
Sky Qualifiers - £1.71
Beat Victor - £4.15
SPIN and Spreadex – 218.35
RAF - £85
Star Post - £0
Total – 316.91
Arbs – Just the 2 of these this weekend due to my money being tied up with SPIN and Spreadex freebies. I also got a lesson in arbing from Chachi on the chat. To my untrained eye I had a monster arb that netted me £6.51 for a £20 bet at the bookie. Chachi however highlighted there were some out there worth 3 times this amount and I fully intend to find these badboys!
Beat Victor – I beat the great man himself on his horse racing predictor and found a nice easy match to maximise my profit
Sky – A profit on the qualifiers was a welcome bonus especially as it was as a result of backing and laying slightly different outcomes. I backed Team A+1 (EH) and layed Team A (+1) AH. Luckily I came out smelling of roses and have the free bet to look forward to.
SPIN and Spreadex – I combined the 2 as it was difficult to separate out my qualifying results. Overall I made about £58 from Spreadex and the rest from SPIN. A top experience with these boys and a nice easy bonus. The only thing I will add is make sure your bets are risking the minimum amount a few of my early bets were nowhere near. I was using the total goals spreadsheet and obviously this does not work for all markets. I spoke to both on the phone and in my opinion Spreadex was sound and on the level but SPIN came across as a bit rude and to a certain extent aggressive when discussing my qualifiers.
RAF – I was referred by Ascot Ed and I can’t sing his praises high enough. The figure is my part of the RAF for both, £25 for Spreadex and £60 for SPIN. Ascot Ed was very helpful and always available to answer my queries. And most importantly very prompt with my payments I got the free bets on Sat and had the money by Monday!
Star Post – To my surprise I received a free bet for a star post on the advantage of Aping on your career thread. It was a surprise and very gratefully received thank you to Bella for the nomination. I lumped the £10 on a horse I fancied to win but alas it was nowhere so took the refund and lost nothing.
I still fully intend to look into America but firstly need to complete my Spreadex qualifiers for second freebie. Also I may look into other Trading accounts although not sure how keen I am in tying my money up for 3 months!!!

Thanks for reading
No worries - no its just the bonus that is tied up for three months. For example, I've just done 5 trades at tradefair, lost about £20 in the spread difference (just stick with the FTSE and Dow and stuff and don't do what I did and bet on some EUR/CHF with a spread of 7 points )

I'll probably use that £100 during the next 3 months to hedge qualifiers at other places (finspreads, twowayspreads) etc., and then you can just withdraw it after three months (so 1/4/2011 for me). It's pretty easy, you just don't see the cash for a bit!
With regards to Sports Spreads, on dreamy little dreams guide, there is an excel file that calculates how much money you could possibly lose if you put in the required info. To be honest, it's nothing new, but it just requires more time, more bets, and luck! It took me about 10 bets I think to get 5 of them to win/lose £20 or more - for example, I bought barcelona goals at a stake of £20, and the game finished luckily at 5-0. If it had finished at 3-0, it wouldn't have counted, so I'd have had to place another one.
You can either put a fair whack on 5 bets (i.e. £50 on total goals) or alternatively smaller amounts on more bets - you might decide that £20 on 10 bets gives you a better chance of 5 of them qualifying than £50 on 5 bets. There is no science to it - just do as you would do at SpIn, but increase your stakes a bit.
Hope that makes sense - absolute doddle though compared to £50 SNR bet after £400 wagered on multiples where odds are greater than 3.25, no asian handicap etc. etc. which is where I think we're both getting to now...
It makes sense of course - I think you have your play tight. Good luck!
Yeah Jake things are looking a little barren at the minute. It is definately where you have to work a little harder for your money and probaly the place where a lot of APers drop out.

I might consider Tradefair then especially as it is only the bonus you can't withdraw.
Thanks again for the advice
Week 5 31/01/2011 06/02/2011
Profit and Loss.
Arbs - £4.58
888 Qualifier - -£1.72
Betfair Multiple - -£78
Betfair trading - -£28
Sky £5 free bet - £4.28
Sportsbet - £51.11
Unibet - £10.02
Arbs As always a couple of horsie arbs, massive underlays are the reason for the low return from these.
888 Qualifier Long story but completely misunderstood the terms so will not be getting the freebet. Oh well only a £1.72 lost on this one. Although after the Betfair debacle one would have thought my lesson would have been learnt and I would only enter into a bet understanding what I was doing.
Betfair Multiple A disaster from start to finish I thought I understood this and flew in full of optimism. My wings were well and truly clipped on the first bet though and it was all down hill from there. I will read the guide again and try to decipher where I went wrong.
Betfair Trading Another bad day at the office here. A long story but I kept backing in-running at the wrong time as just after doing so a goal would fly in, always the opposite way to what I wanted. I need to stay away from these and concentrate on SUBs and freebets. Lesson not learnt though as on Saturday I tried to back Arsenal after Newcastle scored the 3rd, your hero here thought there was no way they would score again. Luckily the bet was not matched and my £10 was safe.
Sky Nice match for my final loyalty stamp bonus, reading the forum I imagine it is only a matter of time before the trader introduces himself to me! Especially considering the reports on MSE that a few got this e-mail without even participating in the stamp offer!!!!
Sportsbet My figure looks a little more respectable thanks to these guys. Odds are not the best here so Im happy with my match.
Unibet I was very grateful to receive a freebet from this firm and duly matched it out for minimal profit. I heavily underplayed so if my match came in I would have been well up!
1. Once again stay away from stupid trading bets and concentrate on my bread and butter.
2. Really get focussed as this challenge is getting away from me, big time!
3. Seriously look at US books
4. Only enter into promos I truly understand
Overall a terrible week that has sent me right back a few places. A feel hindered by my small float and really wonder if I have bitten off more than I can chew, especially as the SUBs seem to have really dried up. In fairness this week has been of my own making and I keep making the same mistakes and not learning my lesson. I think desperation takes over in places and when this happens I really need to focus and get back to the job in hand. I will keep soldiering on but really do fear the worst for this challenge!

Thanks for reading and sorry for the downbeat mood hopefully next week will be a better one!
Tebs, sorry to hear about the bf multiple loss. What happened there? We were in chat and you gave me the figures after the second horse had won and I was a bit alarmed that you seemed to have outlayed a lot more than you had won up to that point but then you disappeared and I couldn't find out what had happened? I'm guessing you had laid too much on the first one at a higher price than the bf SP then it all went a bit pear shaped after that?
We have all made mistakes, it is part of the game, so don't get too down on yourself. I lost £90 in my second week of APing on a casino bonus playing Jacks or Better cos I didn't fully understad the variance, and it was a bit of an eye opener. Just keep plugging away and the profits will keep mounting up.
