Well done on geting away with the £20 loss. I bet thats 1 £20 that you didn't really mind losing! Having said that, I find it hard to cope with losing a fiver.
A good lesson, but when I read the thread I agree with Andy and Eoin- 180= good value. The thing is though you can get tremendous swings in sport. I always remember, about a decade ago, Carl "The Cat" Thompson (boxer), was getting slaughtered by some South African with the ref about to stop the fight when he found the punch of the century to k o and win the fight. It was unbelievable. In fact I'm going to see if its on you tube now.
The game is never over until the final whistle!
Basically i am just posting this as a warning and risking a some of your float making a few quid can go wrong even in games which look well over.
hehe, nice one golf. It was a funny old afternoon. When you said in chat you had laid the draw and Rog pointed out Arse were down to ten men, and I then reminded you that last season away at Wigan, Arsenal conceded three goals in ten minutes. We were just joshing with you of course, not expecting Newcastle to really ever score four. But for those that think 180 was value, those are the reasons why it was 180 and not 300 I guess. I'm pleased you got yourself out of what could have been a horrible mess, especially as I would have felt awful if my joke about you finishing the day -600 and not +200 had come true
In my opinion, there is no value in laying anything at 180. Big risk for little reward, you'll get your fingers burnt sooner or later, I've been there.
