camcorders and hand grips
Does anybody know if you can attach a hand grip to any camcorder? I hate shopping! Me and my wife would like to buy a camcorder and after hours of shopping had settled on this one JVC Everio GZ-HM30SEK Full HD Camcorder - Silver | Dixons | but then my wife noticed the photo doesn't have a hand grip.
My wife is unimaginably clumsy and so this is actually really important. Please can someone save me from spending further time shopping for something by kindly assuring me that it is possible to spend £5 on a hand grip and attach it to the model?

for a "round the side" holder type thing, or

for a "pistol" type grip, that seems to grow legs to become a mini tripod also!
Both of these have a screw mount, that will screw into the base of the camera/camcorder. This is a universal system and they *should* be all the same size (1/4" for tripods basically!).
Nice price on that camcorder, just want to point out that it's not true native full HD if that is a concern before purchase.
Thanks Mickey. The wife threw the idea of a pocket HD camcorder in to the fray last night. I don't want to think about it any more.
