Tickets for Real Madrid

So I've booked a MB funded mini break to Madrid in November for middle son's birthday and he is desperate to go and watch Real Madrid.

They are playing Osasuna at home so I wondered if anyone has any tips on how to get tickets, best stand to sit in, hotel tips etc.

Only going for a long weekend but we will have time for the football and a bit of sightseeing and/or shopping

you can use their official site for tickets.... its not cheap!!!! how old is he? old enough to drink?

Yep old enough to drink so we can enjoy a couple of nights there. £60 return from Scotland so a cheap flight, get a decent room in a good location and then spend a bit on the football and eating out.

I'll check out the official site - the price will be whatever we have to pay - I'd rather know we've got the tickets sorted than take a chance.

Its a few years since we went ( Owen and Beckham were playing for them at the time), but the tickets were on general sale on friday and just qued up with masses of Chinese fans.

Not sure if it was due to a breakdown or something. but when we got to the kiosk, they only accepted cash. luckily i had just been to the cashpoint!!!

But as Sticky has said, I think you can just order them over the internet now.

Absolutely fantastic experience though and make sure you do the ground tour. Its scary how high those top stands are!!

Don't worry about getting tickets, contrary to popular belief they only sell out for the big games.

Also, it is worth bearing in mind that the games can switch from saturday to sunday at quite late notice, so try and fly home monday!!

Got my tickets and go next Friday to Monday as I wasn't sure when the match would be played. Just announced as 12 noon on Sunday which I wasn't expecting. Do many La Liga matches go on at 12 on a Sunday?

Anyway really looking forward to it now and hoping for lots of goals plus got plenty time to explore Madrid and do the stadium tour.

I think the early kick offs is an initiative they started this season to fit in with foreign TV schedules.

I am sure you will have a fantastic time.

The stadium is amazing - well compared to hillsborough it is!!

Looks like a great game, you got 8 goals, a sending off, an equalising goal as well so it was some drama not a consolation at 7-0 up. Not read the report or anything but im sure there were worse games to be at today.
