Last year at this time, I was absolutely killing it profit wise on match betting, hitting middles, and prop betting. I was so active busting bonuses, reloads, and prop bets hitting, I made a killing. THis has been standard for me during NFL season for many years now. But this year I feel so cheated. I have cut way back on the US books i trust. Most of the people on here understand or know why. Right now I am only at hollywood, heritage, and bodog. I have been in others during the year but usually getting out and not letting a lot of money going to one book. There is a ton of talk and laws getting passed by some states that might allow online gambling in the US again though. It might still be some time before this is completely passed, but it is on the way. This was also some of the reason for the crackdown on a couple books and poker sites. They wanted to bust the shady places or at least see what the revenue or the books look like before its legalized (my opinion).
ON a positive note. I have been hammering poker hard the past year. Much more live play at the local casino and many more vegas trips. My next vegas trip isnt until january to play in the world series of poker circuit events at caesars, but until then will keep grinding at the cash games. I really got away from the 40-60 hours of poker i used to play every week back in the day. WHich is actually a good thing because when you play that much every week you almost become numb to everything poker. I really have been playing strong and have really learned to balance my hours to no more than 30 a week. WHich is about right to maximize profit for me. Keeps me fresh when i play, but also leaves me time to still do some match betting, prop betting, and play time.
I havent been able to post as much here lately as usual because It is hard for me to recommend US books and casinos right now to get into. THe ones That i feel are safe are heritage, 5dimes, linesmaker, bodog, betonline, and a few others for sure. But until I get real comfirmation from some insiders I know, I wont stray to much from this core book group.
ON a side note also, A deal is almost finalized to buy out full tilt poker so US people and the rest of the world people will get their money back. I was really kissing that money goodby for awhile, but it is looking like in time, we will get our money. If people havent been following anything about it, i can post some links on some recent articles. It is a tapie group and deal.
