The 'I Need A New Car Funded by Ap'ing' Thread

Right, i need to knuckle down and make a fair amount of money between now and the end of June next year

Basically my poor ol' Citroén Saxo VTR which i bought brand new in 1999 is feeling its age of 12 years due to numerous traffic light grand prix's, handbrake turns in car parks, etc that a 22 year old who has just bought a hot hatchback gets up to........Im now 34 (and wiser i like to think lol) and given that its lived a pretty hard life the engine is still brilliant but unfortunately like most French cars its the rest of the car thats falling apart, plus the dreaded car lurgy that is rust is developing in several places.

In September i got hit with a £836 bill after its MOT due to numerous issues with part of the front suspension and wheel bearings being shot to crap, which if im honest is basically due to the hard life the poor car has lived in my 'youth' so im not looking for sympathy on that

That bill has kinda got my ass in gear to get a new car and i would like to purchase a car thats approx £6000 - £8000. I dont want to get any loans or anything like that and want to make as much money as possible through AP'ing in the next 6 months (so long as the car lasts that long lol)

I suppose the reason i started this thread is to keep a diary so at least you peeps know if im slacking or not and can give me a kick up the ass if i'm not updating or doing offers as i have been somewhat slack recently in doing any offers

As most of you know i have taken two big hits that have hit my float 1 being Betqs and 2. Beted..........Sooooo currently my float currently sits at £6,212.69 which means £212.69 is going towards the car fund at the moment

Currently i have nearly £3k in Intertops at the moment which is kinda limiting to me and i still have a WR to get through there. So onwards and upwards people of TGT i need a new car and im determined to get there

    Snoop

P.S If anyone is interested i want one of these Ford Focus ST

£7.5k seems a lot for a six year old Ford... you can definitely get more for less in the second-hand car market, but it's your money!

A grand a month is an achievable target, even without US books. Good luck with it.

Well if i'm honest it is a Fast Ford so its going to cost more than your average Focus although Woodstock will batter me if i don't get another car next year lol

Good luck snoopy. I'm sure you'll do it, no sweat.

Last month I made over 2k and never employed more than about 2k at any one time, so it can be done even with a restricted amount.

Good luck snoopy. Sure you'll make it. I've just bought a new (to me) car from MB profit. An 8 year old Honda Civic. Not much fun but gets me from A to B.

Ironically, I had a Focus ST up until about a year ago but it had to go to help fund house move & renovation. I still miss it. They are fantastic cars and crazily fun. However, they go through petrol like no tomorrow! They also eat front tyres for breakfast. That aside, I'd still get another one.

    All the best.

    Cheers guys

Cripery they look so much fun and i've never had a turbo charged car before so would love to own the Focus as ive always had hot hatchbacks. One regret is never owning a Renault 5 GT Turbo as they looked really good fun to drive

C'mon Man, just admit it - you don't need a car, you WANT it.
    Good Luck in your quest.
