Its back!

After a nailbiting end to the last competition, horsekeeper scooped the prize, and Dazs was left feeling sick. Its ok though, he's a Newcastle fan so he's had years of similar experiences!

The draw for this one is going to take place towards the end of February, so there is plenty of time to round up people and get a big prize pool. Still, get entered early if possible, as hopefully more will be encouraged if it looks like a big turnout

How to play:

• To play, pay £10 (see below, end of this post).
• Each person who enters the 'sweepstake' gets two teams picked at random from Premier/Championship/League 1/League2 (92 teams).
• The person whose two teams score a combined total of exactly 21 goals first takes the whole prizepool.

The next competition will start towards the end of February which will hopefully give us plenty of time to get people onboard - please pay as soon as you can though if you'd like to take part.

Rules:

• If you go bust (over 21) your score will start again from zero. Goals if you bust do not carry over (ie if you bust out on 23, the extra 2 goals don't carry over, you start on 0 not 2).
• If two contestants score 21 at the same time then the winner will be the person who's team scored the "21 goal" first.
• Only league games count, be it weekend or midweek. Cup games, European games etc will not be included.
• Totals added up at the end of each week, running Monday-Sunday.
• Only scores at the end of each week count - ie if you hit 21 with a Saturday game but then a goal is scored by your other team on the Sunday, unfortunately you bust!
• If its a tie, it goes on when the "21st goal" was scored. Earliest time in the week = winner, if same day, earliest time = winner!
• 92 teams available, so max 46 entrants.

Example of how it works:
You pay your £10 entry fee and your randomly picked teams are Arsenal/Ipswich.

First game:

• Arsenal win 3-1
• Ipswich draw 2-2

Your running total is 3+2=5.

Second round of games:

• Arsenal win 1-0
• Ipswich win 3-0

Total now 5 (previous weeks total) + 1 + 3 = 9.

etc etc til let say are on a total of 18:

Next round of games:

• Arsenal win 2-1
• Ipswich win 3-0

Total is now 18 (previous weeks total) + 2 + 3 = 23 so you are bust! At this point you would start again from 0 in the next game either of these play (so the extra 2 goals doesn't carry over).

First one to hit 21 exactly wins.
