Personally I don't see a hidden identity as a problem provided it has been verified by Andy and a few others round here. There has to be a degree of trust in syndicates as knowing the identity would not get you very far if the organiser did run off to Thailand with £2m say. By that I mean if someone is determind to scam you then they most likely will do so, that is always the worry with syndicates. But so long as Andy held the key information we would be in the same position as knowing Pokergod's identity ourselves.
hmmmmm, something doesn't add up...
In your diary entry you wrote the following:
But now you are telling us you actually a Barrister?
A brief introduction from me...(shamefully copy and pasted from my own diary thread).
I'm quite familiar with the world of advantage play. I started in about 2005 (I think!) with the Rpoints betting/casino forums. Unfortunately I was only 15 at that stage so did it all with my Mum's name/card after setting up a NETeller account in her name! What a naughty boy I was... Anyway, times were very good back then - I still have dreams about the Cantor Casino 500/500/10000 BJ allowed signup bonus, and their monthlies. I pulled in about £2000 per month from the simple casino monthlies alone - pretty decent money for a teenager!
I kept it up using that NETeller account until my first year at uni when I put it all to one side (with most of my winnings still intact) since I felt the offers were no longer worth the time commitment.
I've come back to the scene now, with my own name, and am looking to reel off some quick profit in an 'in between' type year before I start my graduate career (thankfully, already secured!) in October. I'm aiming to raise enough money to comfortably spend my last summer before work in the USA.
Let's get on with the week!
. My thought is to share full details of myself to a few well respected, trusted TGT 'elders' who would, I hope, then consider themselves satisfied as to my credentials (as a barrister, independently verifiable, I'm at least in theory a trustworthy character!).

Yep, look at the time gap. Career (happily) started in October.
Happy to do that Bella, PM me your email address.

C) I dont like a few of the details in the agreement but I would not say change them, it is personal preference PG is now organising it so he can have any T&Cs he likes and you can take it or leave it. I am just chosing to leave it.
D) £25 x 200 = £5k, now I was uncomfortable managing just under £1.5k, it seems an awful lot for a "fun" project.
RE The verifying of identity I dont think that is either here nor there if he is going to steal the money he will, knowing who he is and/or having some contract wont help if he wants to do that he will. You can not know who he is and still be OK if he is an OK guy, essentially thats what it comes down to. I would rather not be involved in any "identity verification" I do not really know what I am looking for and as I am not part of this syndicate it is actually none of my damn business I would not expect him to show me/tell me.
I would say though that the Email address I was told to send £s to in the PM is the same one which both sent and received money from the first syndicate attempt, and I have no reason to believe he is not who he says he is. I have no "proof", but I think he is. I dont think it is such a big deal as is being implied now, even if you knew 100% who he is if wants to he will steal it still, if he doesn't then he wont.
Good Luck to those who are "in".
Have a plan and stick to it

PM sent to register interest.
I think PG has realised that the Scoop6 is an achievable bet, provided enough perms are made and the initial bet is large enough. The only way to successfully go after the bonus is to form a syndicate. That said, even with a number of horses covered there are no guarantees. Last Saturday saw a few big priced winners as the start of the flat season threw up some surprises- that's horse racing!
The initial decision should be based on whether you can afford to lose £25. For me, I can easily mug that over a few weekends anyway so it's a no brainer as I would still enjoy watching the racing whilst on the hunt for the scoop 6.
There's got to be an element of trust somewhere, if PG has at least 3 other members of the syndicate who are aware of his details, then I would be comfortable with that in addition to screen shots of the placed bet being provided on the Saturday morning.
I do think some consideration needs to be given to how the bonus race would be dealt with in the event of a win- would you want to collaborate with an other winner/s or not as this could really complicate matters further?
Thanks Poker, but I have decided not to get involved in the Syndicate..

But it's not just £25 is it? Had Andy ran away to Barbados this week, I'm sure people wouldn't just have shrugged that they had lost £20 / £25.00

For the avoidance of doubt (I may not have been clear) the investment would be £25 per share for the whole period of the syndicate (now around 6 weeks). Of course, if we run out of money before the end then the Syndicate will end at that point!
Shareholders will not be committed to any further payments beyond their initial purcahse of shares.
Please can you not use TGT and the PM function. This is not being run by TGT, so please could anyone contact you privately not using TGT private message please..
