8 Yellow Cards - 40 points. Nicky Butt recieved 2 yellows in one game so i just counted 1 red. I think thats right?
1 Red - 10 points.
Total - 70 points

If you count the totals on your ESPN fixtures page it tells you how many reds/yellows you got there (you don't have to worry about counting yellows twice, if someone gets two yellows that counts as just one red on ESPN fixtures pages).

C Palace played 6 qualifying games, with 9 Yellows and 1 Red.

Which is 55 points, and 9.16 points a game.

Man Utd played 9(?!) games and only got 13 yellows, so 65 points, pretty poor 7.2/game.

9 games though... wtf? ... Newcastle only played 5 apparently so Jono is creaming it!

Im not sure how many games Jono played and he needs to divide his score ny that, but you must have a shot with a 10+ average.
