    Domination gone wrong - Isildur1 v Ziigmund

This is a great hand showing how 2 aggressive players push the margins when they both think they have a great hand and must be ahead. Against other more cautious opponents they may take a moment to consider if the other player has an over pair or has the Ace kicker but the playing style of each is a multiplier effect.

The Handyman considers this to be a case where both players have put the other player on a decentish hand, something like AQ or what else? Or was it all about pot odds?

Have both players have hit their hand and suspect that the other is trying to steal the pot with their high cards, as they are unlikely to have hit with the pre flop action.

As you can see after the re raise all in fest on the flop Isildur1 is 80% to win the hand, as he has Ziigmund dominated. Isildur1s top pair with king kicker dominating Ziigmunds top pair weaker kicker. But this is Holdem and you are usually never far behind.

Not that he would but if Isildur1 was offered to run it twice or hedge his bets should he? If he was offered the chance to make a poker insurance bet what odds would you be offered in this situation or would you have taken?

Imagine if you needed to not lose cash in the hand, it does not matter if you either win the hand or win the poker hedge bet?

On the turn the killer card rears its head, Ziigmund is now 93% favourite! The dominated has become the dominator.

Something seems fishy about this hand... I think there is some cheating going on...

    Ziigmund 10h 9h (35% to win)
    Isildur1 kh 9h (65% to win)
Ah yes, now I see it! There are 2 nine of hearts!

    hmmm

Good point well made Slim ... Handyman, was that site error or a rare mistake on the part of The Handy Man himself?

can you clarify what the suit was meant to be?

9c it was meant to be

The Handy Man is still trying to work out what they thought each other had. As you can tell it caused confusion and puzzlement. Did one of them put the other on the draw? Did one person realise after a re raise on the flop that their kicker may suddenly be dominated but was now pot committed?

Perhaps a little rendition and waterboarding of one or both of them is in order. I might have to ring my Uncle Sam to help us unlock the mystery.
