Can I buy you a beer?

I bet that got your attention! lol

I posted this in another thread but thought maybe it deserved it`s own space.

Some other forum I used to frequent had a buy a beer button by each members name which I thought was a great idea...it basically forwarded you to the recipients paypal account where you could make a donation.

I think this would be a great addition here...anyone agree?

It can`t be that hard to impliment can it?

If someone posts something you find helpful or more likely profitable then you can buy them a beer with little effort.

Thankyou for the suggestion, it will be brought up at next months meeting and I will make sure I get back to you with what can/will be done. Do you have a link to the "some other forum" so we can see what forum software it is and exactly how it works?
Have a plan and stick to it

I only just spotted your reply Andy.

It seems thay have stopped using it....it was at WarriorForum - Internet Marketing Forums

I found a few threads on there about it and I gather the owner removed it simply because all add ons slow the forum down....they have tens of thousands of members.

This thread shows an alternative one of the guys made up

[TEST] "Buy Me A Beer" Feature Returns...

With the original one I remember there was a box in you profile where you inserted your paypal address for it to work. When people clicked on yourr beer button they were automatically redirected to the recipients paypal page.

In the thread below a member has included a script for something similar

Quick tip: how to make a "buy me a beer" script.

    Thanks Andy
