Nintendo2k edit: This thread is essentially posts moved from another thread. Tartantipster is not the OP of this thread

Lines & Brobury weren't that well known as such to UK until fairly recently - now they are starting to limit (any connection ?)

Each to their own risk v reward - shame the risk side seems to keep getting underplayed for whatever reason.

Altho not new it being cross posted on mse doesn't add to the appeal of the offer.

Yes, I saw it had been posted on MSE.

It's a practice I have stopped, and I now exercise a far greater degree of discretion.

Agree, no point in even looking at it now

Fine if you want to cross post but I would of hoped that whatever other people post in the premium section stays here rather then be relayed back to MSE.

    Totally agree blowingbubbles.

Perhaps I should add I now exercise a far greater degree of caution too. You know, with an increasing number of Bookmakers in some parts of Europe, a lot of US, and Canada too totally banning bonuses for UK players, this was not the wisest move, especially as they have such good cash bonuses; and the Jazette Group, as TGT are already aware, are limiting UK/NON US-Canadian players.

Right, so we can nick posts (or complete offers) straight from MSE and thats fine, but quoting a post from here is a complete no-no?

Don't worry, not gonna bother posting anything else, here or there.

You are free to post any offer you want on here and on any other site. But if you do so you should follow common decency and give credit to the poster/forum where you found the information, like when someone posts something on here from MSE/AoD it gets (it should be anyway!) mentioned in the OP. If it is your own "find" then no need to mention anything, just post it on the forums you wish to post it on.

Despite there being talk about it from time to time, there are no secret bookies. It is only out of respect for the original poster and his wishes that it does not get posted on other forums.

However if someone goes ahead and crossposts information from here that is not yet posted on other forums, then maybe don't expect to get very popular. But this is hardly a popularity contest. TGT can not control what users think of other users.

In the end it is up to you what you want to do.

And thanks for posting the logans offer. I read the covers forum weekly but I always just ignore their Logans offer. Probably worth a go, even if going in small.

Please refrain from further discussion on this matter in this thread. Let's keep it about Logans and their offers. If you want to discuss this post, I suggest starting a new thread in the feedback category.

Ok, now I'm lost. I posted this here, and it was me who posted it on MSE too. So why would I need to 'credit' myself? Already stated it was spotted on covers.com

The only info I posted on MSE from here was an answer to a question about whether someone was linked to brobury, and I sort of quoted an answer I remember reading here, Haven't got time to dick about finding the exact quote and poster. But hey whats done is done.

Sorry if I was unclear. If it was your own post then obviously no need to credit yourself. I was thinking more like if someone found a post on mse, say the "XYZ sportsbook 100%/$100" offer posted by AoD, then it should be specified in the post here that it was originally posted by AoD on mse.

If you yourself posted the XYZ offer anywhere then obviously there would be no need to say "Oh, I am the original poster of this offer, by the way."

That is no reason to ban someone and has not broken any rules at all.

The Premium sections were set up mainly to stop a lunatic from Nitro and/or some other clowns from causing trouble posting nonsense and being rude, etc, etc. The fact it has worked so well was very pleezing.

It was not to control/restrict information as such. At least not primarily that purpose, we knew it would have that effect though. And that effect may be beneficial/desirable. But it has NEVER been the case that anything on TGT anywhere at all is in anyway copyright. Post what you want where you want it is a free Country and I (and im sure everyone else) has better things to do than prowl about checking what is posted on other forums, it is not really any of my business.

There is a lot of MSE bashing perhaps unfairly at times. I dont like Martin Lewis and that is pretty well known but it's nothing to do with the gambling section of his forum. I have read the "Beginners Guide" there before and I think it does a job, anybody who has tried to write a better one will tell you it isnt easy. It is not really very good if you want to make a serious amount of money and it simplifies things which should not be simplified, overcomplicates things which are actually easy, but as I say it does a job.

A lot of people use both sites, there is nothing wrong with that. I obviously would hope you never have a need to use MSE or any other forum/review site because any advice they have/can give I would hope we have someone who knows more/can advise better. Realistically though I am sure MSE must be better at some advice and us better at others the same as SBR is better at some reviews at some places and us better info about others. Its unrealistic to expect any one site to be the best at everything so its understandable people use more than one resource.
Have a plan and stick to it
